The staff was wonderful; from the hostess to the servers. We ate breakfast there twice and the food was good. The first day I had cornbeef hash that was delicious. The french toast was also delicious. During the second visit, I ordered the chicken fried steak. It was good, but it could have been cooked a few more minutes, the breading did not seemed to be cooked enough.

Black Bear diner has the absolute best orange juice you've ever had anywhere! They use an actual orange juice extractor with real oranges so you get the freshest, real orange juice, definitely not from concentrate. It is squeezed fresh when you order it! Mother's Day breakfast was hectic but staff managed IT well! We will go back as we did enjoy our food.
I usually come for breakfast and it's always great , came for dinner this time ,4/22 at 730Got the pot roast and it taste bland and chewy like it was microwaved with with veggies & my plate was soaked with water from the roast, had too put a napkin under one side of my plate so my mashed potatoes weren't drenching. Disappointed this time around. And its not even busy in here for a Friday night.

We lucked out and only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Which for the morning is unheard of. There's usually a longer wait between 30 to 45 mins. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. She made sure all our orders came out as requested and refilled our drinks without having to be asked. The sweet cream pancakes are by far the best pancakes. The simplicity of the sweet cream, butter and syrup was perfect. Nothing more needed to be added! Breakfast was delicious and we will definitely come back again. The only negative thing I can say is regarding the cups and silverware, two place settings had food stuck on the silverware, and one cup was dirty. Our waitress apologized and provided new silverware and a new cup without hesitation. Just something to be minndful of if you plan to eat here.
Great food and service, breakfast for lunch or dinner, can’t go wrong here, lots of great comfort food, I’ll definitely be back
Really good food (their pancakes are delish!), large serving sizes, and relaxed, rustic ambiance. Only negative is our server did not crack a smile nor seem pleased to be there... the other servers were pleasant though Would come back to sample more of the menu. Glad they have several locations!

Even at their busiest and with my complicated order my food came out perfect ! what can you say the quality of the food is amazing ! Better than your moms food at home.
