Very nice experience. We were up stairs so we could watch the aircraft while we enjoyed lunch. The service was great and the food was delicious.
Great menu. Reasonable prices. Delicious food! You don't even need to be traveling to go to Woody's at the Airport just go there for cocktails and a great meal!
The food was delicious and affordable. I made local person born and raised here in Monterey and been eating at the airport since I was a little kid. Still a great place to have lunch or dinner.
It doesn't often occur to people to dine at the airport on a Saturday evening, but if you are a guest on the Peninsula or live here and have not tried Woody's At The Airport, you will not be disappointed. They have a downstairs section, which is a bit more casual, as well as an upstairs dining area, full bar, and booths, which overlook the runway, which also overlooks Monterey Bay. Our server, Marc, was wonderful. He was knowledgeable about the various courses and the wines, had personal favorites, and added to the enjoyment of the evening. The manager, Victor, stopped by several times to check on our dinner and just to chat. He, too, was a pleasure. Now, on to the chef and the food. Chef Tim Wood was the Chef at Carmel Valley Ranch and Bernardus and his talent shines in each course. Everything is sourced from local farms. The presentation of each course is impeccable. More importantly, the combination of flavors and herbs, and these local products create a truly memorable culinary symphony. Do not hesitate to dine at the Monterey Airport. In fact, I can't think of a more wonderful welcome to our area for visitors or to those looking for a great meal in this area -- and they also do brunch!
Clam chowder has lots of clams and potatoes, just the way I like it. Turkey sandwich was good.

Staff is absolutely wonderful. We recommend this wonderful restaurant to everyone. If you want fine dining, this is the place to go.
I would have given it 4 stars if the chef/owner wore a mask and had a touch of consideration for the safety of his staff and patrons. We asked him to, but he totally dissed us by removing it as soon as he turned around. Calamari steak was really really thin and tough this time. Was thick and juicy last time. May give it one more shot if it appears safe to dine there. Can't risk it with my serious health issues.
This place is one of the best new restaurants on the peninsula. If you want and amazing and incredible burger then go here. The server was very attentive and seemed genuinely interested in our well being. Can't wait to go back and experience Chef Tim's awesome creations.
This restaurant and bar changed ownership and renovated. But it is the food that really improved. It is really, really good! It is a perfect complement to the great cocktails served up by the original bartender--a wonderful mixologist! Go here regardless if you are using the airport!
