They overcooked our filets, and the clam chowder was so bland it tasted like just cream and flour! My husbands filet was supposed to come with prawns. It came out with 2 tiny shrimp. It was way over priced but that’s to be expected in the area. But for what we paid, you’d expect the food to be much better. Great view of the ocean, though and the service was good. Unfortunately food was a disappointment.

The food was okay, it did overall need more seasoning because it was rather bland. And the service was just inexcusable, the waiter assumed that me and my family couldn’t afford certain things for some reason. The waiter kept suggesting “ oh well your going to have to pay for that you know because that is not free” or “ Well the fish is $49.99 just so you know ” so it was highly inappropriate in my opinion because we did not ask him how much anything was in the first place. I would not go back again. Very disappointed. I would definitely speak to the manager if possible.

Wonderful experience. Food was great and view was amazing! Portions were a little small for the price.

The menu is not the one posted on the web site. It is a much smaller and less interesting menu. Web searches are confusing, sending you to the hotel websites. Trip advisor reviews refer to a different name for the restaurant. The hotel link does not have the restaurant name and shows a bar menu. Another link shows a full menu giving the impression there could be two restaurants. In fact there is only one with a reduced menu. When we called we were told the menu is not on line. Looks like there has been a change of ownership. Service staff were very nice.

The view is incredible! We had the linguine and clams. The clams come shelled and they were fresh, the linguine was oversized noodle and the sauce was bland. The dish had no flavor, no garlic or parsley. We also had the wedge salad which was fresh but the dressing tasted like Mayo and there was no fresh ground pepper in restaurant. The bread was served warm with soft butter and the view was fabulous. Unless staying at the hotel again I would not just go there for the food. 5 more min down the road you can eat at the wharf!

The views here are everything! Just a stunning view of the Monterey bay! I have to say the food was absolutely delicious and the service was attentive. It is a bit pricey though... Guess we pay for the view. Having said that, I'd still come back for special occasions!

Service was great, views were also great, but food was mediocre. Quite a disappointment. They need to rethink their menus-- I ordered duck breast. I got two duck breasts with some sauce on top. That's it. Nothing else on there. Flavor was minimal. It honestly felt like they might be understaffed in the kitchen and hence trying to make the dishes simpler, but at $43 for duck breast I expected more than just two breasts with some green sauce on top.

Beautiful ocean view. Unfortunately there was very little service at the restaurant and the food was not great. Carne Asada dish was over $50. Very greasy, fatty and overcooked. Such a disappointment. We went for a special occasion that wasn’t even acknowledged despite telling 2 waiters.

Beautiful view, very friendly servers, but don't go for the food. Very nice presentation, but just wasn't very good. We will go back for a drink and appetizer for the view, but it will be a while before we have dinner there again.

The food was mediocre at best with exception of the crab salad with mango sauce. Had the calamari but 2/3s of it was waxed peppers. Ordered a steak, the sauce they put on it was pretty good and was enough to cover up the fact that they overcooked it. The service was good and the view was great. Very pricey for what you are actually getting. I would not recommend.
