A little outside of central Monterey, but worth the trip. The best dining experience we've had in a while. The food, service, and ambiance were all fantastic. Very dog-friendly as well. We'll be back when we visit Monterey again!
Excellent food and impeccable service from Nick our server. A must visit when in town. The tuna appy and octopus where excellent.
Party of six on the patio for lunch. went well, with great food, but it took forever. Not sure why but it must have taken most of an hour for the burgers to come out. Service (waiter) was fine, seems like the problem was in the kitchen.

I had the beef short rib-mushroom ravioli, the dish was superb He had the Apple salad, excellent And the special jambalaya, lots of seafood but the sauce lacked flavor
Super yummy food. Staff friendly and helpful. Atmosphere very nice. Upbeat, relaxing, felt like a really nice date night spot. Lots of happy faces enjoying the evening, tables were far enough apart for an intimate date night conversation. Loved our evening.
The appetizers (ahi tuna tacos and deviled eggs) were good. The two Caesar salads we ordered we ended up not eating. The lettuce used appeared to be the end of the batch (mostly yellow and white) and the dressing seemed to be off. They did comp us for those two items. Definitely not up to the usual Tarpy standard.
It was our 40th wedding anniversary and we wanted to go somewhere special. We chose the perfect place. The staff acknowledged our celebration and made us feel special. The food was exceptional, tasty and ample servings. Our waitress Allison made sure everything was perfect from the food to the service. We noticed she did the same to all of her customers. Thanks for helping us celebrate! We will be back.
