This place is authentic and so great that I had to go back two nights in a row.The food and service is impeccable!! The sushi was amazing, chicken teriyaki - the best I've ever ate, from the way the veggies were cooked and the chicken, chicken yakisoba was the best ever too!The scenery overlooking the ocean was phenomenal as well.If you want a terrific experience, this is the place!!!
This is somewhere I always end up after a trip to Monterey – it's one of my favorite little spots to eat. It is just so excellent!I’m a big fan of hibachi style food, and similar to Benihana’s, this place is just as good.I love the way the steak tastes fresh off of the hibachi grill, as well as the vegetables. Most likely it’s the butter but it’s all pretty amazing!
We enjoyed our meal here. My husband said the curtsy was just like we could get in Japan, although a bit more of the sauce itself was needed. My daughter enjoyed the fried rice and I got a roll. I probably wouldn’t go back for the sushi alone as the flavor left something to be desired. I would go back to try other things on their menu though including the hibachi.The staff and server are incredibly kind and welcoming. There is also a wonderful panoramic view of the harbor and busy happenings down there.Overall, a very clean and welcoming place.

Me and my friends came here to Sapporo for some good food. The tap cooking is just so much fun because of the fire and catching all the food. Absolutely a great time here. Will be coming back here again! Also, the sushi was delicious. The windmill roll is just so creative too! the little soft cracker on top is perfect. I highly recommend Sapporo. A little tip to or the windmill eat the cracker then the roll it leaves a little tang in your mouth.
Seating by the window was very nice. Ordered the mushroom oyster new york cut steak with vegetables on a hot plate. The steak was done to correct doneness, it was tasty, not chewy. The sauce was a bit salty. The vegetables were a good accompaniment. Our other order was a Ribeye steak and mushroom in a Dijon cream sauce with potatoes. The steak was a bit overcooked but taste was good. Our server Heather was very kind and nice. Enjoyed our dining!
Everybody is super nice and chefs are very kid friendly, if I lived nearby I would come here commonly, food is amazing and beer is one of a kind. 10/10 you are missing out on something
My husband and I go here for every other anniversary, birthday or just a date night! Have been coming for years and will continue to do so!
sapporo is such a fun night on the town. ive gone for my birthday dinner a few times and the service and food is always exceptional. there is a benihana nearby, but I tend to prefer sapporo. they always make a birthday girl feel extra special and they are so sweet!
The sushi was better than expected and the tempura ice cream was delicious! Place gets pretty busy so come early. Great view of the wharf.
