We stayed virtually next door to this place, at Stage Coach Lodge, and we bought 3 meals here that morphed into 5 meals. Breakfast plate ($8) had 3 eggs, hash browns, and a heaping amount of bacon. Ham or sausage was also available. Two large slices of buttered toast were included. Breakfast burrito ($7) was so huge, my wife could only eat 1/2, saving the other half to microwave in our motel room later. Turkey Club sandwich ($8.50) was a heap of bacon, piles of Turkey, tomato and lettuce on a very tasty french bread roll. They cut the sandwich in half, I had to save the other 1/2 for a late night snack. I bought another Turkey Club sandwich the next day when we checked out. Tuna salad Diet Plate ($8.50) had a huge scoop of tuna, lettuce, tomato, avocado slices, and hard boiled egg. It came in a huge styrofoam box and we put it in our room refrigerator for later, and we split it after returning from day hiking at Pinnacles National Park. Breakfast sandwich ($7) was purchased on the checkout day, and also had to be shared. I think that must be his best seller as we saw lots of them being sold. Randy's Sandwich Shop is not open on Saturday and Sunday, as their main focus is on feeding the local workers with yummy bargain meals to go!
Simple, great food, very inexpensive, and a great staff. What's not to like!
Italian beef sandwich it's the most I buy when I stop here I don't eat pork so I don't know how the breakfast sandwich taste !! Oh and turkey the Ruben it's ok
This place popped up during a deli search to get sandwiches for a picnic and I'm so glad it did! It's a teeny mom n pop spot, offers the basics, but the sandwiches are not basic in any way. They make simple taste divine! Hubby had an Italian sub, I had the turkey w cranberry sauce, added a couple bags of chips and some Cokes and we were on our way. The sandwiches are hefty, fresh, and the bread was sooo good. Totally made our picnic along the beach!
I had one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever eaten in my life this morning from Randy’s Sandwich shop! Great vibe, friendly and very kind owner, and incredible food - looking forward to tasting my way through the menu!
Amazing and awesome place. Great sandwiches for a great price. Small authentic and heart warming. Absolutely loved it
This hole-in-the-wall near the Naval Postgraduate School makes superb breakfast burritos, terrific sandwiches, and not much else. Line up with the construction workers early the morning for a burrito or stop by later for a Jaws or Jaws 2 sandwich. Plan to work off all those delicious calories and expect great value for money even after inflation-induced price hikes.
We ordered the Jaws, a meatball sandwich, and a turkey sandwich. All the sandwiches were good. Plenty of mayo. We ate them about 2 hours after we ordered, but they still tasted great.
Prices were fair.Sandwich were good. Just need a little more room. Small was tight but the food was good.
That was a great sandwich. This place is a true, off the beaten path, hole in the wall, gem. Highly recommend it.
