Very unassuming place, but the people are friendly and they give LARGE portions! They also gave us pita while we dined in, which was definitely a welcome surprise.- Clam Chowder (4/5): Came in a large bowl and was filled with lots of clams and potatoes- Chicken Gyro Sandwich (5/5): We got this as a recommendation, and it was SO GOOD!

Ordered the veggie platter and it was so yummy! Pitas were so soft even after 6hrs. Will definitely recommend. Their tabouli is to die for.

Nice service, mediocre food and piles of single use plastic. The last bit being the biggest offense since we’re in the home of the Monterey Bay Aquarium and we all know where that plastic is going. It wouldn’t take much to improve the food and use actual silverware.

Perfect cafe for a casual Mediterranean meal. Eat in or outside. Good prices, quick service, fresh food, and great flavors.

After a long day, stopped by this place for a quick meal and it was very fulfilling and delicious. Quick to serve as well. Lady was nice and loved the Chicken kabab Platter and baklava.

I ordered fries and they charged me $12.50 for fries and they added nothing but one drop of cheese. I asked for everything on it and no chicken and they add and nothing and 2 tiny strips of chicken. This is the worst gyro place i have went too and the worst customer experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

$15 for a gyro, fries and drink is a good deal, especially with the generous portion sizes. Food was out, hot and fresh, within 5 minutes of ordering.

HAPPY VALENTIN DAY. Wife being vegan and I am not, I still can't wait to go back with her. The small fried mushrooms taste better than the warfs calamari. The ( I'm sorry forgot name) long Island ice tea was seriously tasty.Ambient Light was low but flavors were on.If you can find parking it is in the back right corner and well worth the walk from where wherever you do park.

Just had an amazingly delicious gyro here at Petra Café. We paid $29.50 for two generous portions of fries, sodas and the tastiest tuna salad sandwiches we have tasted in a long time. The young man who helped us was above and beyond patient with us and had the most wonderful attitude. We will absolutely be coming back again.

I eat keto but I couldn't resist the falafel because it was sooooo good. Kefta kebab and baba ghanouj also good.
