Fabulous Sushi and sashimi. Great attention to detail and enthusiasm for the food from the owner. As a lone diner I can’t fault this eatery. Best Sushi I have had in California!
Amazing sushi and great vibes from the staff. The sushi specials are to die for, diver scallops and the mango roll were my favorites. Unassuming location but was delighted by the quality of the food and service.
Clean and tasteful decor that you wouldn’t expect in a motel connected restaurant. I have passed this place for years, now with remorse. Service is fast and engaging. Prices have risen since the menu was printed and some rolls have increased by $5. Sashimi was fresh and tasty and the protein role was also good. Never a big fan of a TV above the sushi bar… but at least the sound was muted. Worth a visit.
We’re from out of town and we stumbled across this place. We had dinner to celebrate my son’s 9th bday and every item we ordered was delicious! Service was great. Our server did inform us that our food would take some time due to the 2-person staff in the kitchen but we were not in a hurry at all. We like to enjoy our time to socialize. We ordered the edamame to start off with and it was salted perfectly. We then ordered the chicken teriyaki entree which is served on a sizzling plate. My son was impressed and excited about it. My daughter had the udon with tempura veggie and the dish was delicious as well. For rolls and we tried the Golden CA, Crunch roll, Baked Salmon roll and the California Roll as well. We enjoyed all of them! Lastly, the prices were awesome for a dinner spot. I know we’ll be back when we’re in town!
Very delicious food! We had the Sushi Avocado Roll and Chicken Teriyaki and would say it was the best we have ever eaten.
The waiter is very friendly. He has a wonderful memory and can remember your fave plate sometimes. Once they were low in staff bc someone didn't show up or were sick, so they gave us edamame so that we could have a snack while waiting for the food. Very tasty food btw!
Best meal I’ve had in years. Finally went to this place after my wife talked about this place for years. Really impressed with their sushi and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Their newly updated baked lobster roll melts in your mouth. Highly recommend for any occasion.

It had been a slow night and they were getting ready to close a little early (8:30 instead of 9pm as posted, so maybe call if you plan to cut it close). Since we were staying in the hotel next door, we placed an order to go. J took our order and chatted while his father prepares our food. He was very friendly and gave suggestions that turned out to be excellent. He even gave us miso soup while we waited for our order. He is very personable and attentive. We ordered the sunrise roll with salmon and mango, which is a combination I have never had before. Excellent. We also ordered the pacific roll with coconut shrimp. Also a hit. My wife ordered a more traditional roll as well as tempura vegetables. I would like to go back and eat in. It was a very good experience. The price was right and the food presentation (even to go) and taste was outstanding.
