We ate here as it was in walking distance of fisherman’s wharf. We appreciated that they offered gluten free pizza although my son said it wasn’t his favorite pizza. The regular pizza we ordered was okay. I like a great sauce and it was more just tomatoes. I didn’t love ordering at a counter and it wasn’t easy getting our drinks refilled. I’d rather just have full service at a table. They do have outdoor seating which is nice. We went to the ice cream shop next door for dessert which was fantastic.
Very good wood fired pizza. The salads are HUGE! Everything was delicious. Fast casual style, and the service was attentive and friendly. Really liked the hand sink independent of the restrooms. The place is clean, and the food is fresh. The perfect pizza place.
Came back for another pizza, this time the Four Cheese, delicious. The proprietor (Jeremy) even made sure the pups had water. Lovely spot for a pizza fix in Monterey. #glutenfree #monterey
I’ve been here twice, and Jeremy was super friendly and helpful both of the times. I love the truffle and prosciutto pizza (thin crust), and the house salad is also delicious (the portion of the salad is quite large, so it’s good for sharing). I love the balsamic vinegar with arugula and cherry tomato! The only food I didn’t like is the buffalo chicken wings; somehow it was cold, and the meat wasn’t as tender as I would wanted.
We popped into MidiCi on a Thursday night, just as the Jazz duo was starting its set. Ordering via QR code was a breeze, and the food came out really quickly: Delicious Burrata Caprese, Superb Meat & Cheese platter (the spicy calabrese dipped in honey was *chef's kiss*), and a great Margherita pizza with arugula. Didn't need to order the Tiramisu BUT it was amazing! And the service was friendly and efficient, the live music added a lively atmosphere--perfect for a lighthearted evening after a long day of sightseeing. Thank you!!
For a Neopolitan-style pizza spot the wait is longer than expected for the pizzas (fyi they offer both Neopolitan and New York style pizzas). Our bruschetta and garlic bread appetizers came out very quickly though. It's a bit pricey to add toppings; sticking to menu creations seems the way to go. When ordering you have the option of scanning a QR code to view the menu or see a paper menu - all orders go through the online system. I ordered a pizza with vegan cheese and vegan sausage - thank you for having such options on the menu! It was definitely good. This spot has both indoor & outdoor seating and free wifi.
I’m so pleased that we ate in this restaurant! My husband and I are on a 2 week road trip of California from the UK and this pizza was the best I’ve ever tasted, I had the the green demon and it was so fresh and delicious, I’m still thinking about it now! The staff were really friendly, in fact the owner and another guy called Geoff went out of their way to come and chat to us. I strongly recommend this place.
Saturday night walk-in, two people. House pesto pizza was soggy, dripping with oil. Margerita with prosciutto pizza: arugula was yellow with brown ends, like it had been sitting in a bowl for two days. Chairs dirty, napkin dispenser smeared with oil. Wait staff were friendly. Save yourself from this place.
All good. Really nice staff! We had pasta pesto, pizza and meetballs! Would recommend going here!
Stopped at MidiCi Monterey on the way down to LA with my mum and the food was delicious. We are from England and had the minestrone soup and Bruscetta to share. They were good sized portions and all I can say is I want the recipe for soup particularly as it was the best one I've ever had! Also the guy who served us was really welcoming and accommodating, he even spent time talking to us and making sure we were looked after well. We would definitely go there again!
