The cinnamon rolls were so yummy. We got four and took them Togo. They were great. I would definitely recommend.
My fiancée and I visited here during our trip from San Jose to LA. We were moving my stuff from the dorm to home. We got a gluten free lemon bar, donut, and cinnamon roll. We also ordered 2 gluten free ham sandwiches. Not surprisingly, we ate the desserts while we waited for the sandwiches. They were delicious! Also, despite spoiling our lunch with sweets, the sandwiches were amazing and flavorful and did not taste lackluster even after eating sugar.
I was surprised at how dry the cinnamon rolls were after buying a very expensive four pack because it smelled lovely from the street. Heated it up to check if would taste better but sadly I was still not impressed.
Owner was nice but the gluten free cinnamon roll was very dry and tasteless. I will not be going back, sadly.
We could smell these cinnamon rolls down the street and had to come by to check them out. We bought 4 and got one free, which was warmed up for us. The cinnamon roll was fantastic and gone in less than 2 minutes between my husband and myself. The girl behind the register was really friendly. Glad we stopped by!
Google maps says open until 11p - it's 7:45 on a Friday night in a tourist spot so I figure it'll be fine to walk down from our hotel. Get there at 7:50 and the lady is closing the doors. I asked if they were closed and she replied with "yeah it's time for us to go", to which I responded, sadly, "aw, really? Google maps said you were open until 11!" and she awkwardly laughed (yes, laughed) and nervously said, "oh, social media! ..ya know, doesn't always update (insert more awkward laughing)" as she continued closing the doors on us. .....................mk. thanks.
I found this charming place in Cannery Row while visiting Monterey, CA. Wifey had the pecan cinnamon roll, and I had a maple apple one. We then shared a quiche Florentino! The crust was to die for!! If you need a quick bite to eat while here, be sure to stop on in!
Wow did we get ripped off. Got sucked in by the yummy smell and bought a 4 pack of cinnamon rolls, for a high price of $39!! Got home and opened up the box, and the anticipation...ugh. What a let down, taste like a month old, hard and dry pasty under a ton of sweet frosting. Would give no stars if we could.
The cinnamon bun is as dry as the other reviews indicate - even warmed with the glazed icing. It almost tastes like a gluten-free cinnamon bun.
I’m surprised this place has any good reviews at all, as a local I keep giving this place a chance but every time, the cinnamon rolls are a let down and the customer service is horrible!! How has anyone had a good experience here?
