Visiting a family and some people recommended this place. Walked in and tried to order take out. There was an old man working in the front that had a bad attitude. I cancelled my order. I'm only giving 2 star because the younger man after him was nice.
Amazing lamb dish with cumin and a side of green beans! We had been looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant, and this is it. Memorable food. Jack made the spicy dish slightly less spicy for me so it was just perfect. Jack and Angela are trying so hard to recover from the pandemic. They can’t get help, so they’re sticking with takeout boxes and paper plates for now, but that in no way diminished the wonderful dishes coming out of that kitchen!

This place is the “real deal”. Tough to find authentic Chinese cuisine. We had Cumin Lamb and dry fried green beans. Owner Jack and Angela were great! Only wish we had a place like it where I live.
Honestly some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had! The service was wonderful too. 10/10 recommend!
I ordered the wor wanton soup with noodles.The waiter asked me why? I told him back in San Francisco where I eat Chinese food 8 days a week that I always ordered won ton noodle soup.So I said OK hold the noodles. I did not say hold the flavor. The soup tastes like dish water with with one ton's barbecue pork slice chicken and cabbage and shrimp floating in it.
Everything was absolutely amazing! The food was fresh and delicious and the customer service was just as excellent as the food! May have to make this my new Chinese go to spot whenever I'm in Monterey!
If you would like to try some sichuan spicy dishes, this restaurant is a must go!

Very authentic Chinese food, good environment, very authentic taste, and the menu is also Chinese. The boss and waiter are all Chinese, and the children are very happy to eat.
