I'm Greek. Epsilon is very good. The owner has the graciousness of Greeks in the USA from the old days.Bravo Christo well done. When I return to Monterey I will be back.
This is probably one of the greatest finds that my family and I have made while visiting the coast. After a long day at the beach, we headed over to Epsilon. We were immediately greeted by Patty. Most places tend to grimace when we walk in with two toddlers, but not Patty. She was incredibly welcoming and very friendly. She was nice the kids and after some suggestions we settled on food. Everything wa sincerely incredible. The lamb shank was perfectly cooked, the salad was very fresh and well dressed, and the kids loved the string beans they had for dinner. Overall the experience was great, the food, delicious, but Patty killed it with the service!
Very kind and engaged staff. The food was great. Had the gyro plate and it was way more food than I needed, but it was too good to not eat it all. I would recommend anyone visiting to give this place a try.
There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the centre of Monterey, but we were looking for something different and 'light', and were pleased to find Epsilon. It's a nice looking restaurant and were were greeted warmly. Service was fast and friendly and the food was very good. The only problem (for us) was the size of the servings - massive! We had the leftovers packed, but we still didn't manage to finish them.
Really nice Falafel - mains were average. Only serve Greek wine or beer - so money saved there! (Great bar round the corner).
I’m in Monterrey for a week and a friend told me about this place. I ate there on Wednesday and it was amazing. Tonight is my last night in town so I went there again. Phenomenal food. Nice people. If they opened in Los Angeles, I’d probably be there five nights a week.
Great experience! The restaurant is charming, the service smooth and attentive and the food is DELICIOUS. We had lamb shank and spanikopita, preceded by wonderful salad, flaming kaseri cheese and a delicate, delicious hummus. We followed up with baklava and cinnamon ice cream. Wow!
Epsilon Greek Restaurant has very pretty Greek decor. You can eat outside or inside. Service was friendly, warm, patient and so helpful. Food was delicious and portions are large! Hummus and tzatziki combo with cucumbers sbd tomatoes was so delicious! Loved the Greek Sparkling water too!FYI there's a Speak Easy Bar called SAVVY next to the restaurant that the owner owns too. They sell small plates and brunch is served on Sundays with music! DEFINITELY will need to check that out next time we go to Monterey!
My absolute favorite restaurants in Monterey! I’m obsessed with their lamb and lentil side dish.Will not regret one dollar, if you like quality and community this is the place to be ??
Staff is fantastic. We reserved a table and it was ready for us right when we showed up. Our waitress was very attentive and personable and was very helpful explaining certain dishes to us. The prices were a little steep but as soon as I saw the portion sizes I realized the meal was well worth the price. We ordered the dessert which was also very good. Definitely would recommend this place!
