If you are desperate and hungry and don't find any food nearby, then go here. Food is bland and small portion. Not recommended.
Absolutely delicious. No nonsense, amazingly authentic Mexican food. If you want good Mexican food without a pretentious air, this is your place.
This place is really good! Came here with a fish and shrimp taco craving, left with a happy belly and no complaints. We got the fish taco plate, shrimp taco plate, and shrimp enchiladas plate. The shrimp seemed like it may have been boiled instead of grilled, and the enchilada sauce was just 2 points off of great. The rice and beans here are great! I would absolutely come back for fish tacos here though (was probably the best plate out of the three that we got).
Restroom is no available for customer use (sign says out of order). You can't get free cup water as required by CA law. Bean is super salty. Portion size is on the small side. Price is too high considering the condition of the restaurant. Don't know how it got such good review from others.
Had the Adovada tacos! Awesome marinated pork! Wife and kids had the flautas and really enjoyed them. Wish I had discovered this little taqueria sooner.
The food was good. The portions are not generous, but there was plenty for lunch. The four things we ordered a chimichanga plate, a super burrito, a 2 taco plate and three tacos. We ate everything and went away satisfied. The carnitas taco was my favorite of the tacos, but all were yummy. The place has not atmosphere, but taking it to go and sitting out by the water would work well. No chips with the meal, but they do give you a few little cups of salsa.
Super friendly staff, and very quick service. We got the chicken tacos and the carnitas plate. Both were delicious! Also, their flour tortillas were the best I’ve ever had!
I’m glad I gave this place a second try. My first experience yesterday morning was not very pleasant. The cashier seemed bothered she had to take my order and barked at me if I wanted salsa, despite being the only customer inside… this evening was a complete 360 with friendlier gentleman ringing in my order and even kinder cook who peeked his head out from the pick up window with kind eyes and asked if I wanted salsa. I’m very glad to have come back again to remember this experience, very endeared by the service. The supreme quesadillas ordered on both experiences were a great value although would require a bit more handling to eat.
You make the best Mexican food in Monterey. My burrito was heart worming. I walk past Dos Victorias nightly and I am amazed by the smell of the food. Finally got the opportunity to try this great Mexican food. Thanks again amigo!
Just a giant Thank You for satisfying all my late night craving with amazing food! Highly recommend the shrimp diabla plate. I think I have been ordering it once per week.
