Literally one of the happiest set of people. They all were in the best of spirits and you can tell they really love working with each other. The food is good and the proportions are on point. Thanks for the experience!
The place was unexpectedly fun and lively, with great live music. The staff made everyone feel welcome, the service was friendly and the food was great! There was only place that was open late!
Sa so SAD… spoke to Michael today who boasted how well he knows his catering menu and refused to make 30 gyros sandwiches today, willing to spend over $300 dollars on catering but must call another place because he was so RUDE - enjoyed saying No to me at every opportunity. So sad because the owners are a nice family - oh well, I tried. CLEARLY NOT a first choice for gyros.
We went there hoping it would be decent, the Demetra in Carmel is. Service was cold and so was the food. Bland, boring and cold. Add in some overcooked mushy rice for good fun. Not worth the calories. I don't normally complain at restaurants but this time I did and got a refund. Pass on this place
Excellent food, good prices and clean. I was greeted by both friendly Michael and Marisale. I travel the whole west coast for work and appreciate a good food find when I come across them and this is on my favorite list. Surrounding area is beautiful as well.
I don't usually eat Mediterranean food. But my wife wanted to grab a bite real quick. We had a wrap w Gyro meat and the works. It was slamming. Will definitely have it again
There’s really nothing else in the area like this place if you want fast fresh food. Everyone who works here is always kind and the food is consistently good. I hope they are being paid well. I recommend ordering in person—they never get our order wrong.
Been eating here for 5 years now. Decent taste. But, the price keeps going up and the portion keeps going down. Even the pita bread is smaller than what it used to be. What a disappointment.
If you like good pita with your meal do not come to Demetra. The pita was dense and hard. I had a wrap with pita and I couldn't eat the pita. Everything else was fresh and pretty good though. I advise the chef to make a change in the pita recipe.
Great for a snack or a meal. Best spanakopita and baklava, ever. Moderately priced. Leaned to like yogurt as tzatziki sauce for the spanakopita. Wonderful staff. Enjoy
