Excellent clam chowder and Cioppino. Caesar salad was fine. We received a free calamari app! Very fun to watch the sea lions from the window. Fun ambiance on the pier!
Despite the name (Seafood) this place has great burgers! Not the prices include soup or salad which you can ask not to include & they discount the price. Nice inside. View of water. Couple tables outside on pier are great if you're visiting the pier w fur babies.Chicken sandwich (in forefront)Garlic breadJim's burger w fries
The absolute worst meal I’ve ever had. I live in the area and wanted to take visiting family to dinner on the wharf. Never been here and my usual go to’s we’re booked on this busy weekend so I thought I’d try. Fried calamari coated in a heavy dark breading was greasy and soggy, as were onion rings. The wharf can usually produce a light, crispy calamari or other seafood so I was surprised and disappointed. This same abysmal lump of soggy greasy fried onion appeared on what was described as a grilled shrimp skewer salad in lime citrus. Two hungry teen boys left most of their meals on the plate. The bar was no better. The asked for classic daiquiri was like limeade in a tall tumbler. I apologized to my guests for a very sad meal. Service was friendly though, but the food was so bad I have to give warning. Also be warned that the menu prices are over twice as much as advertised on the website.
The service was excellent like always. The food was delicious with a view of the water. If you haven't been here I suggest you try it
The food at crabby Jim’s was amazing the best food I have eaten in California. Fresh , flavoursome and lovely atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming it was the best eating experience. Loved the food just delicious.
We've always love going to Crabby Jim's. The food is always fresh and drinks mixed nicely. Our visit today nice and the server attended us well. The prices have gone up which we are happy to support our local businesses. Also they no longer serve bread with your meals. I had ordered the ciopinni which was pricey....I know this sounds unimportant but to turn around and have to pay for bread seems unreasonable. Certain dishes (not all) should come with bread.
They had a display table outside, the seafood and desserts looked wonderful. We advised we were vegan, and they immediately improvised pasta primavera for us. Elegant seating, first class service, excellent views of the harbor from Big windows. Recommended. $$ to $$$
We visited May 2022. The ambiance is nice and it has a beautiful view of the rocks and sealife; I'd suggest going in the evening for a bowl of chowder or wine. The food is overpriced and a bit subpar. We ordered the 2 person dinner which was lobster, crab, scallop potatoes, and veggies. The lobster was bland, the whole plate is topped with a butter sauce. I prefer drawn browned butter with sides of lemon. The crab was boiled in an Italian-herb seasoning and stuffed with diced tomatoes. The scalloped potatoes were undercooked, the mixed veggies were ok. The salad was a joke with the scattered spring mix served on a large plate with 1/4 tomato, a piece of cucumber. A carrot floret,, and some artichokes. If we were to return, it would be for the soup as the sunsets.
Anna, the bartender is the absolute best! She needs a pay raise. Stopped in and ordered a couple top shelf margaritas. Noticed I got well tequila. Older bartender was training a new guy. They gave me happy hour margs instead of what I ordered. Was a little pissed off but as soon as Anna came in on her shift, she corrected the situation. I will come back if she’s tending the bar
The clam chowder was so creamy and good. I will for sure always come here for my clam chowder. Hands down the best. My calamari sandwich was good. The crabby patty burger was delicious and moist
