the food is palatable, but not great for the price point. we ordered bland general tso chicken, beef lo mein that was also bland, egg drop soup that was watery, and the sizzling rice soup which was the highlight since ive never had it before and don't have anything to compare to. it tasted like broth, which i'll assume is a good thing. overall, definitely not worth what we paid.
Love this location, the family that runs it and the food they serve. I've been going here since 2014 and it's fed me and family on a few holidays. Authentic Chinese food and lots of options. Our go to is the spicy beef broth green beans and garlic eggplant.
Excellent food- wonderful atmosphere! We had a wonderful time during our visit to Monterey. The food was awesome and the owners are so friendly. We love Katie Momma and hope to visit again some day! We highly recommend this restaurant!
Don't come here rude lady waited to sit us for 20min, waited five minutes more and a rude older lady came to our table very impatient, we tried ordering because we never been here, she as we where ordering yelled are you hungry or not? All rude when we just asked questions about the food, then she walked away from our table!! And looked mad, we ended up leaving hungry because we didn't wanna eat where a lady is yelling at us, very rude and unprofessional.
The lady is rude she threw the menu on the table and rushed our orders/us in and out. Also the food has very small portions not good quality wouldnt come back again.
This looked like a great place for take-out, but we were dining in. No COVID protocols seemed to be followed. The lady serving us was nice but more busy with phone orders and yelling instructions back to the cooks. We had to ask 3 times for drinks. The food was quite good, and served quickly. It was convenient to our hotel.
There are two types of people in this world, those that love their food and liars.Simply put, incredible food! Try their salt and pepper calamari, it’s so crispy and delicious. Their food is like a symphony of flavors, textures, temperatures and just pure awesomeness!Their service is wonderful and I’ve loved this place for so long, yet it just gets better.
The spicy fish was simply heavenly divine. Could eat this over rice all day. Had a great birthday dinner here with friends. Friendly vibe, excellent service, and we shared all the fabulous food family style. Will return!
I've been here a couple of times during the weekdays in the evening.I have enjoyed the staff and the food. Staff has always been friendly and courteous.Food is good. Is it the best I've ever had? No. But its up there and it meets my cravings. Portion sizes are large enough for me to enjoy dining in and having lunch the next day.Would definitely recommend friends to come visit.
