Good coffee
Found my go-to coffee spot in Monterey! First impression: this place has a lot of bike decor which wouldn’t have been my first guess from its name. Their setup is nice. They have an automatic pour over machine which wowed us. We ordered their iced vanilla latte (very popular) and flat white. Both drinks came out delicious! Didn’t try their food options but other reviews have shown they’re equally as delicious. Definitely worth a trip over here if you’re in the area or passing by!
My boyfriend and I went here one morning recently and loved it. We shared a yummy latte (best one in Monterey) and strawberry peanut butter toast. We watched the worker make it and it was authentic. I loved their peanut butter & wanted to buy it for my own home. We would definitely come back here!
My girlfriend recommended this place to check out. Lines were out the door, which almost made us change our mind. However we probably would never stop again since we are visiting Monterey. So we waited it out and lo and behold it was amazing! The vibe was rocking and the people are friendly. Homemade vanilla, avocado on toast with a twist.
Visited on a Saturday afternoon after hiking at Point Lobos. The line wasn't too long. I ordered an iced oat milk latte and a peanut butter ball - both were really good! My partner got a mocha that he really enjoyed. We were here with a group of 4 and luckily managed to find enough open seats at the large table for us to relax for a bit - it was pretty busy! It's quite loud inside, doesn't seem like a good place to work/study from. Only indoor seating, free parking just down the street, and free wifi that didn't seem to work too well during my visit. I'll return on a future visit to the area! We bought a bag of beans to enjoy at home in the meantime.
I’ve been here four times, and here’s what I like about the place:1. Sufficient light- I really like the open environment and how sunlight comes through the big windows2. Interior design- the wooden tables are just so nice!3. Good coffee - I’ve had espresso, americano and oolong tea. They all taste pretty nice4. Good food - the cereal bowl is epic, the fruits are fresh and the granola tastes really good. A little bit too sweet for me, but the overall taste and texture still make this dish a thumb-up (a bit on the pricey side though; it’s 9.5 dollars) (but they do give a generous amount of fruits, so I have mixed feelings)Things I dislike about this place1. The music rather loud, so sometimes the staff has to yell the customers’ names2. The bowl can’t stand. Okay I know this sounds absurd, but my cereal bowl was so tipsy and I would really appreciate to have a container that stands properly
Place is nice to chill and modern, but the coffee was way too sour. The Toast was ok, Service was Fine. All in all I was a bit disappointed, because of the bad coffee.
Busy little popular coffee shop located away from busy Monterey sea front. Quirky design, Friendly staff, little bit of seating inside. Freshly brewing coffee on site a good selection of cake and sandwiches. Worth a visit if in the area.
Great vibe, great coffee!
The vibe, the coffee, the space, the merch, and the staff are all top tier. This is one of the best coffee places I've ever been to. Highly recommended!
