Service was lively and on point. The food was absolutely delicious!!! Definitely recommend!!!
As a local, I dine at Cafe Fina 6-7 times per year, celebrating all birthdays, anniversaries and "just because" dates with the best food on the Wharf. I have my usual standby, Pasta Fina, but will always get one of the specials because they aren't on the regular menu. The Petrale Sole lightly breaded in a lemon caper sauce is delicious, very tender and melts in my mouth. Dominic's lasagna is large and filling, I always cut it in half to enjoy the next day as lunch. My husband loves the Shrimp & Crab Ravioli served in a light pesto cream sauce, but will choose the Crab Stuffed Salmon when it is offered. They have several outside tables for guests that enjoy the weather, or bring dogs. We usually opt for a window seat in the back to gaze out at the sea otters and seals. Even when all the tables are occupied, the noise level is quite low. A glass of wine, or beer, is a nice complement to the entrees. They have a good selection from which to choose.

The food was not good. The clam chowder soup wasnât good. The mussels were too greasy and smelly. The only good thing was the garlic butter. Also the waitress was friendly.
Third time here in past 18 months. I have been to other restaurants on the wharf but this place has me hooked. Love this place. Staff is friendly, food is always delicious and the owner always stops by tables to ask about if everything is ok. This is definitely my go to place when in Monterey.
Food was superb and so was the service and view. This place is unique and a gem.

This place is great. Old school all the way. Great staff and the owner is at the restaurant all the time. Dominic Mercurio is a true professional and gentleman. Moves effortlessly through the restaurant engaging with the customers. Food is great. Pasta and sausage is made in house. Chicken parm is made from scratch and is also outstanding. Outstanding all around.
