The place looks reminds me of an American classic burger joint. We ordered 2 classic burger seasoned fries and one regular fries, a lettuce wrapped burger with onion rings. The place was clean friendly and delicious.!
Super friendly staff, decent burgers, great location. Recommend eating there...like most burger joints, takeout was not great, due to soggy fries, but we'll give it another try, when we have time to eat there. Everything was very flavorful and made to order. Definitely a quality place.
First visit was excellent. Friendly & attentive staff, solid menu, great burger AND pupusas (!!) that got to us quickly. Take some time to check out the vintage decor and furnishings. I'll have to come back and check out the dance lessons, too, when those rev up again. Parking out front (separate lot off Lighthouse). Only bummer is that I didn't try this place sooner.
Nice little place. Love the decor. But the food was awesome. I added garlic to my mushroom burger. The meat at the core had plenty of flavor. My girlfriend had the California burger and had absolutely nothing to complain about. Slight disappointment that they were out of onion rings for the day.

I’m not really a writer of reviews, but I felt it necessary to highlight how cool this place is and how delicious their burgers are. From the outside it’s hard to tell just how much character and charm awaits you inside. But as soon as you step through the doors the nostalgia washes over you like a warm hug. They clearly put effort into decorating using many vintage posters from different time periods ranging from old books, to rock posters and classic cars and a little 8 track player tucked away in a rustic looking cabinet. However, the main reason to visit a place like this goes beyond it’s charm. The burgers are delicious. I had a simple old fashioned double cheeseburger and it was freaking delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection, not to crisp and not too squishy, just right! Their fries are also delicious and they give them in heaping helpings. If you find yourself in Monterey and are craving a good old fashioned burger with a burst of nostalgia, this is the place for you.
Short women working here sorry I meant to say it like describing who but she's the best. Very nice women. When I went there with my family. She attended us with respect and also great attitude as in she had a smile that says she likes what she's doing and likes to work there and does her job in a nice manner.
So glad Carls Jr was closed (we were looking for affordable lunch when visiting the aquarium). Less than 10 minute walk from the aquarium, about $12 per person with sodas, delicious burgers and fries (my picky eater loved the fries). Also, super friendly and helpful staff.
My son Collin played here lots in the past. I got to listen to Luigi and his master guitar rifts, another Guitar God and legioned. The burgers are pretty darn solid. The location is convenient. I admire the tenacity to stay in business all these years.
I feel this place was much more enjoyable pre-covid where a busy vibe would lift the place. The burger was better than average the fries I felt were way below par
