Drive thru line was long, but worth the wait Chicken was delicious, tender, and oh-so flavorful?
This store has the slowest drive thru ever. Comparing to the fast food next door, took over 15 mins to get to the ordering window and roughly another 8 - 10 mins to actually leaving the drive thru. Definitely not what I was looking for to do on a Saturday night.
So this place has a large banner that says "drive-thru open until midnight" when it should say "drive-thru open until 11:45pm". Pulled up exactly at that time just to have the drive-thru closed off. Either the employees are closing early consistently or their hours are not accurate with what they advertise.
No need to build this back better.

The cashiser tried to over charge us but like we always check the receipt we tolled her and.she said no.we tolled her look at the receipt and ordered 2 things and came out to.43.73 so I tolled her check ur math .. she gave us the momey back .. I guess she wanted a tip ...So check before u leave
One thing about Ono Hawaiian barbecue for me..it's ALWAYS been ABSOLUTELY delicious. Some places are a little more stingy on the quality they give but today I went to the City of Industry by the Costco of the 60..which I believe may be considered MONTEBELLO..There food was ABSOLUTELY delicious and fresh. My favorite is there fresh salad with a delicious dressing to die for. The salad does have purple onions. The dressing is creamy like an Asian salad. ALWAYS ask for a bit on the side..great with there CHICKEN KATSU. I USUALLY ASK FOR THIS SALAD INSTEAD OF THE VEGETABLES. OMG DELICIOUS...THERE FISH AND SHRIMP IS OHHHH SO GOOD. And they really serve you well. The food is delicious and very filling. ?
Food is okay, but this location has a drive thru that just burdens the restaurant. Food isn't fast enough so the line gets ridiculously long and, to top it off. The right lane is reserved for chick fil'a, so you have to use the left lane to wait in line in the two-way driveway between them, which also contains parking stalls. So people are constantly getting blocked in. Traffic gets upset with those waiting in line. The drive-thru wait is about an hour. Overall a bad experience, but good food.
I discovered this place. Not bad, but not very ribs.
Ono is a good place to get Hawaiian BBQ to go. If there is a line at the Drive-Thru be patient, it may take some time to get your food. It's made fresh so it's worth the wait.
