When most dimsum places only open up to 3pm, they go to 5pm which is truly exciting .’still one of the best d dimsum to go to, variety of which can confuse you what to order but equally tasty & quality at its best . This place is packed understandably so.’
my favorite dim sum place been going here since i was a kid. foods always been good and service too. my family's hosted some parties there too. it's been more expensive lately but o think that's just covid-inflation when a usually $50 meal for two to three people is now $70 3 years later
Waited about 30 minutes on a busy Sunday. Everything was good, but it was pricey for dim sum -- about $80 for 2 people. Highly recommend the mushroom wrapped in tofu skin. They have everything on the menu at the to-go express store if you don't want to wait. But I think the dim sum carts are part of the experience.
Classic dim sum vibes from the decor to the service to the food. Everything tasted great except the dan tat crust could have had more buttery flavor but it was alright. Some carts take forever to get to you or are missing the stuff you want (couldn’t get our hands on any green vegetables the whole time…)The other mediocre thing was the seaweed rolls. Just like drinking oil honestly.Quite satisfied with my experience.
This was the best dim sum I’ve ever had in my life. I’m from Chicago and there’s no dim sum like this back home. It was so fast too because it’s served in carts. The restaurant is huge. I was a bit overwhelmed with the amount of people, but the wait was not long.
delicious dimsum, fast and friendly service, nice authentic ambience.
The dim sum at NBC Seafood are very good. You can also get the dim sum for takeout too so it's convenient if you don't feel safe eating at the restaurant. I think it's better to eat it there because it is fresh. I was also able to talk to the manager Kenny because I'm interested in having my wedding rehearsal dinner here. They have their own private room in the back for private event. Kenny was able to answer all my questions and the prices for a family menu is very reasonable. The parking situation here is not bad because it's in a big plaza.
I’ve been here before for weekend dim sum, but I guess I forgot to post my review. AnywAy, the reason for the addition, is that I get why some of the reviews are negative. If I recall, the wait time was long but do recall decent service. Anyway, on this night, a Wednesday two days before Christmas Eve, service was great. We had a party of 12 and wanted a private room, but my sister was told about the minimum spend (not a problem the way my family eats), but also wanted us to pre-order. Ridiculous, so we just asked for the tables. Once I got there and noticed it was slow, I asked if we can have an extra table for gifts (it was our pre family Christmas dinner with my sisters and mom). The manager then came and offered us a private room. I told him that was our original plan and about the issue with pre-order and wished they didn’t have that requirement. Anyway, he apologized and explained how that could be an issue on a busy night and walked us to the private room. From that point, service and food were excellent. All was good and everyone happy. Not sure about all that we ordered, but the family meal which was about $338 was awesome. Manager suggested it and suggested we order two, one for each table, but we decided to order the one family meal and supplement with our favorites. Like clams and pork chops since the meal didn’t have them. I can’t say if a discount is built into the family meal, but for being one of the less expensive options from about 10 ranging from $300 to $800, can see why the manager said it was a favorite. Had a whole lobster, whole duck, whole chicken, steak and a large order of walnut shrimp. About 2-3 other dishes and dessert made up the full meal but the portions made it worth it. Can probably feed up to 10 people alone. We didn’t even finish the lobster and clams!!!! We obviously ordered too much, but that’s my family. Had plenty of left overs and great memories. About $660 including extra orders and a few beers. Some can argue this place is expensive, especially for Chinese food, but I would have paid much more at a steakhouse, Korean (which we are) or sushi restaurant for my family of 12. I certainly could have paid less without the lobster, clams, steak and shrimp but then again, that’s not my point. The quality of food that we ordered is on par with some of the other styles of food at a lower price point per person, service was top notch, parking and wait was awesome (on this occasion) so why not 5 stars? I’m sure I’ll come back when I’m not in the Christmas spirit, wait times are longer, parking sucks and all that and update to 3 stars, but for today’s experience, it was perfect. Love my fam!
Authentic Hong Kong Style Dim Sum, great environment with good service. However, a little pricey if you are hungry
The authentic dim sum experience is back! They are pushing around the carts and everything, with masks. Food is great. A few dishes were on the colder side but that makes sense. It still all tasted good and there were plenty of options. Was definitely very full and had a good experience overall for the price! ? But weird that water is not free. Had to buy bottled water. Very very odd… but there is unlimited tea.
