There are tons of fresh fruits and 3 types of ice-cream. It's perfect dessert to share.The Parking: FREE parking at the back of the store!
The drinks are unique. They do make them pretty quick so it’s a good spot to go if you’re wanting a grab and go kind of drink. Lots of seatings inside and a couple seating outside. The waffles aren’t good. Don’t recommend. It’s hard and not flakey or soft at all.

I love the coffee and mochi waffles. That being said, the door and windows are always covered filthy with hand prints. We are still in a pandemic and these can easily be wiped when there are no customers who need their orders taken.
Amazing boba spot! Love the potted tea idea gives the tea a nice texture when sinks to the bottom. I recommend the Okinawa milk tea with pudding. The sea salt coffee was good as well! Could have used some sort of creamer or milk to make it thicker but was very tasty none the less. The staff here is very helpful and do work diligently to serve the drinks faster than most boba spots. Highly recommend this boba spot if visiting Monterey Park.
The drinks in this place are awful. Their options of drinks are quite limited and their few options are disgusting. I ordered their “signature potted milk tea” and I had to throw it away. The crumbs of whatever they put there don’t taste good at all and the drink tastes greasy. So disappointed.
Macchiato is a hidden treasure that once you find you will never forget. My first time coming to Macchiato was when I was looking for a place to get boba and study and I happen to stumble upon macchiato. Going in I knew this place was going to be one to remember by the look of their unique specialty of making potted plants. Their extensive menu made it very difficult to pick something to drink. However, when I asked one of their cashiers what they would recommend they didn't just try and sell me their signature drink. Instead, they asked what type of flavor or drink I was looking for and helped guide me to pick something out. I ended up getting a horchata milk tea with their intriguing potted plant. Best of all before I was done paying my drink was already ready!When it came to picking out food the cashier asked me questions to help guide me as to what I wanted and helped me pick out their macchiato sundae waffle. I ordered my waffle mochi and it was truly one of the best damn waffles I've ever had in my life. It was just the correct amount of chewiness and texture. Most waffles are often hard and dried out and their mochi waffle was an exception to this. Their presentation of the waffle with the 3 scoops ice creams, whipped cream, and drizzles was something done amazing as well. No other place I've been to compares to this.Overall, my experience here has been incredible.I've since then visited macchiato at least twice a week for the past months. The staff is friendly, helpful, and quick! I've only had to deal with one slightly bad experience with my drink but they quickly resolved it. Unlike other places the barista offered me a apology and remade my drink within 2 minutes. I've never experienced such amazing customer service like I have here. I will continue to come here for years to come!
Nice coffee and tea shop with ample space for customers to hang out or work. Nice alternative to Starbucks. I usually get the caffeine free items under the Warm Me Up and Ice Blended sections. My favorite is almond ice blended with pudding and glass jelly topping. There's a nice selection of other toppings as well. I'm interested in coming back to try their waffle and panini items.
OMG This cafe in Monterey Park is very creative!! THEY PLANT A TREE IN YOUR BOBA CUP!!?Look at this awesome cup of boba I had. SAVE THE WORLD LOL You can eat all the soil and little spring too!! This is the most amazing thing I've found this week LOL it's really cool.Their snacks are all very nice. I love the chicken pops. which has spicy level from no spice to extra hot. The charcoal waffle is also SUPER GOOD OMGLastly, try their mango tea with jelly bubble. It's the right level of sugar I LOVE!! Just a hint of sweetness in stronger tea flavor. PERFECT WITH ANYTHING!!
I used to love coming here for years, I'm not sure if they have new management or what happened but it's been different the last couple of months. My last visit I ordered 2 of the same drinks that I always get, and one of them ended up being a different flavor. No biggie right? Well when I let one of the girls there know, "Sarah", she got upset and told me no you ordered this flavor. I calmy told her no, and she got more upset and said well u need to pay for a new one then. This continued for a while with her giving me attitude and telling me I won't make you another one. I told her she can throw away my drink if she didn't believe that it wasn't what I wanted. She said no, continued to scold me, until she called her manager and I guess was told to make me the correct one. She said here, and slammed it on the counter. I have never met anyone with such a temper, I found out her name is Sarah. I definitely do not want to go back when she's there. My drink was full, and she said I drank it all too. Idk what was her problem that day.
