Ordered a takeout and use my own box. The waitress was considerate and told me the spaghetti will get too soft if they put it together with soup. So they separated them for me and gave me another box. I was ordering 通粉 though but sold out. The porridge (皮蛋瘦肉粥) and beaf soup (牛杂) were good (HK ok standard but good in US). However the choices of porridge were too limited. Next time if I go there I will try other afternoon tea items, but the restaurant is too far from where I am living…

Visited with my mom for lunch. It was busy but didn't have to wait long. We were there on a Saturday early afternoon (1245-1300 ish). The decor was nostalgic of HK.We ordered congee, pineapple bun with butter, pan fried soya noodles, rice roll with hoisin and peanut sauce, and HK style French toast. Everything was delicious. The congee was tasty and very "fluffy"; it was also made with the right amount of salt so it wasn't too bland or salty. Pineapple bun with butter was soft and the toppings were crunchy. French toast with PB was excellent and the noodles were also great, not too oily at all. Obviously the iced milk tea and iced coffee/milk tea were excellent. Also had refills which e didn't take as we were so full.Definitely worth a visit again when I go visit family again.

This is always my go to place for breakfast or lunch if I am feeling like something light and in the mood for Hong Kong style breakfast.They always have people lining up out the door, and always close early - 5p so make sure to go early enough! Their pineapple (bo Lo bun) is sooooooo good.And for breakfast there’s a breakfast combo where you can get a main, side and drink for around $11.It’s honestly not a bad deal at all since their food are really yummy!They have recently redone the place so the atmosphere of this lol and pop shop is way more hip and new.They no are no longer cash only so you can bring your card!They have their own private parking lot!

Great food and portion size. Very reasonable for the price.Pro tip: come for the breakfast pineapple bread. Worth every penny for it's fried crunchy goodness paired with a HK style tea or coffee (or both!).
Authentic Hong Kong style Cafe. They closed for a while during COVID, but just recently opened. As with other restaurants in the SGV, prices have been raised. New menu and breakfast has one less combo. Will try their new items during lunch. Breakfast still good.
Edit: a new owner has taken over and it’s back to being a Hong Kong cafe. Tried the lemongrass pork and it was delicious. Ambience is good too.This restaurant no longer exists. It’s now a dimsum place. Very sad.
