Hands down best ramen place in town. Excellent vegan option, delicious appetizers and savory rice bowls. Nice boutique restaurant with very limited seating, but options for outdoor dining. Big portions justify the prices.

I ended up going to Daikokuya twice in consecutive nights (I genuinely enjoy a good ramen and those are hard to find where I live). The food was great in both occasions and there were a lot of people waiting to go into the small restaurant. I have been to ramen shops in Tokyo and Daikokuya looks the part -- it is not the most sophisticated ambiance (in fact, it is small and mostly poorly decorated). On the other hand, it is easy to see that the main focus is on the quality and freshness of the food (just like in traditional ramen shops in Japan). Service was great both times and the food was quickly available. I definitely recommend this place.

Long 45min wait for a party of 3 since the place was quite small and busy. The spicy miso and daikokuya ramen was really good (noodles was al dente and the soup was rich and flavorful) but they messed up the egg (it was over cooked and quite bland). The pork katsudon was meh. It wasn't crispy, was quite bland and contained too much rice. The takoyaki was good and so was the Sapporo draft beer but it was quite small (small volume glass mug was used).

Delicious ramen, poke bowls, and sushi. Cute 70s Japan atmosphere! Fast service too. Prices were a tad high - $25/person after small appetizer, tip, and tax (no drinks).

Looooooved this place! The pork belly rice bowl was soooo good! Service was great, I loved the waitress.I probably wouldn't take vegetarian friends here, veggie options tasted decent.Expect a wait of about 15 minutes if you want to dine in for dinner for two, it will be faster if you seat outside.Probably will have to wait a really long time for large parties, I would be mindful of that and call ahead if they can even do it.

Minimal vegan options but what they do have is SUPER DANKY! Their vegan spicy ramen was redonkulously good and even their simple vegetable roll SMACKED, super fresh. 50/50 on the tofu nuggets. If they are eaten at the restaurant, fresh and crispy, they might be fire.Happy Munchies,@aVeganAndHer

Service was great, food was great, it had been a long time since we ate here. Here. Unfortunately there were a lot of flies which were not super bad but did impact our experience.

The Spicy Miso Ramen + Pork cutlet combination is amazing! Make sure you are hungry or expect to share, because it's a good sized portion.

Travel a great distance from Orlando Florida to experience this place. I’m so happy we went here during our vacation!Cheers

A delightful ramen restaurant with a delicious vegan ramen and scrumptious tofu nuggets! It’s a reputable ramen chain restaurant and I’m so glad to have found it in the neighborhood! They output yummy food and they are open late! Woot!
