I ordered the albóndigas soup. It’s not made with a tomato base like some albóndigas soups are but it hit the spot anyway. It has a great authentic taste.I just wouldn’t dine in because it didn’t seem clean and decor is outdated.Also, be aware they’ve raised their prices by at least $2/item since the pandemic.For those prices I’m expecting not to question the cleanliness of a restaurant.Staff seemed to be polite and recognized some of the regulars by name which is nice for them.If they would fix up and maintain the place at the same quality of food, they would have that place packed on a regular basis.
This was my first visit. It was the middle of the day and during the week. It was a nice place to have a quick beer. However, I won't be going back. The food was not good and it wasn't worth the money. It was all canned or frozen food, that they just warned up. The selection of beer is very limited. It was warm in the restaurant, it didn't feel like the air was on. Just not a great place to spend your hard earned money.
Food was excellent,But the service was Terrible,the server a female was rude & never came back to ask for anything had an awful attitude she's is unprofessional & a complete disappointment to the restaurant.
Good food, short staffed. They have a notice on the door stating it was short staffed. Even though it was short staffed, food didn't take long. Clean dining area. Didn't use the restroom
Good calm place to eat maybe take your grandparents or parents to eat food is good they sell beer no bar tho

Great find in Montebello! Love the food, the rice is excellent... very flavorful, and the breakfasts potatoes are not greasy! It's hard to pick rice or potatoes as a side. Chili Verde salsa is top notch with chips. Try this restaurant, only minus they are trying get additional workers , so service may be slow. However, the food and courteous service are worth the wait.
The food still taste home made but they desperately need more servers. One one waitress on the floor
