I keep track of all my reviews. For not valuing honest customer reviews/feedback, you get less stars for consistently deleting my good reviews. I hope you're not trying to manipulate your ratings.I've been eating here since you took over the location, left good reviews with minor criticism, and even supported you when you were about to go out of business during the pandemic...but deleting the reviews I've left over the years is one of the best ways for a business to make me mad.
My first time here and I will be coming back! Pie and coffee were delicious! The cinnamon rolls over the top but most of all our waitress, Stephanie, was amazing! She is so attentive and very good at her job! She deserves a raise!
My daughters and I enjoyed our dinner. Our waitress, Stephanie was just amazing! She was very friendly, patient, and helpful. It was a busy night and you can see the staff running around. The food was tasty, but, in the end, seemed a little too expensive for the small portions. My teenagers were satisfied; that's not always easy, but we will definitely come back; maybe for breakfast next time.
After a NY steak dinner I felt like dessert and a coffee. Been along time I ate a big huge cinnamon roll with icing with a hot cup of coffee at Polly's Pies ? Very clean very warm service Waitress refills your cup if needed Now that feels like Home to me. Thank you and Happy Valentine's SINCERELY JESUS BANDAS HONEST REVIEWS
This visit was on a recommaned sugar free options pie place, per diabetic family. My first impression was how much the inside looked like Marie Calenders,it's probably as dated as Marie's,but has been in Montbello for years.PROS: More sugar free options. Banana Cream is flavorful,,crust has a baked vanilla wafer taste. Custom service was prompt.Cons:to be continued, haven't tried food.
Food is good. Service after 4:30 won’t be pleasant. Something that needs to change would be the service. I am not bashing on this place but this one experience was not okay. The servicer rushed us and refused to give more “hot” coffee. We asked (3) separate servers if we may have coffee because the coffee they gave was literally hot water with no actual coffee taste. All (3) refused. We simply just wanted to get up and leave. However, my children were eating so, I stayed. We asked for another drink and got nothing in return because they got upset as well. We asked if we may have fresh coffee, she bluntly said, “I can’t make you fresh coffee.” This indicates that they do not serve freshly made coffee at all, gross! Anyway, please go in the morning when the good and professional servers are there.
We've been coming here since it was called Baker's Square? (yes I'm dating myself) my daughter loves eating here and the staff is always friendly and go out of their way. We tried their new fall menu. My daughter had the grilled cheese anf i had the pumpkin pancakes. The grilled cheese was different, a little too sweet. I would have like the sweet cut with something acidic like a tomatoe. My pumpkin pancakes were absolutely delicious! I wanted to just order a stack to eat during the week. I had the pumpkin coffee and not the greatest, i noticed their coffee is a bit too strong for me. My daughter always gets the Polly Palmer, yum!I read the previous reviews about staffing, but I hope people realize that we're still in a pandemic. Everywhere is short staffed and the people that are showing up for work are extra stressed. They may be slower or a bit forgetful. Please have patience, this place is very worth it!
Great customer service (Tommy). Breakfast was delicious, don't spend your money on other restaurants. Clean site. I definitely will back there.
I love their breakfast meals and blueberry muffins . The best and fresh I ever tasted. I highly recommend this place or any other locations in Los Angeles County
Good food and good service.
