As my kids wedding anniversary is coming up, I remember the wedding day. We were coming out of the court house, looking for a place to eat. We went to Pez Cantina but they were closed, and to my surprise, they took care of us with their delicious food and the Chef even managed to specially decorate a cake for the Groom and Bride. I will be eternally thankful for making their moment so beautiful with such celebration!

The food was amazing but the service sucked First Pez Cantina called my son the day before that they needed a CC on file for our group of 17. I could understand if it’s full to capacity but when we got there it was empty just two tables of two. So I don’t know what the issue was plus they told my son if we didn’t show up they would charge the CC 20.00 per person Drinks were amazing and tasty and you get so much food you have to bring food boxes home and this was the Downtown location My son they always go there and no problem but today they dropped the ball!!

Such a gem of a restaurant nestled in the center outdoor patio of Montebello’s BLVD MRKT. I highly recommend the Ahi tuna tostada, the Campechana cocktails and their two amazing desserts; neopolitan churro and mangonada. And if it’s cold, you def want to try their pozole.
