Food is good. My mom would send me here to get her rolled taquitos with cheese and guacamole on top.
Very disappointed ! I always get taquitos , Pastrami quesadilla for some reason the quacamole was not fresh ,my quesadilla not enough pastrami or quacamole it was flat like a pancake!!
Beans taste like paste.
I enjoy the mom and pop taste of the food. I'm no food expert but you can taste the difference between burgers from this place and for example jack in the box. So far I had the double bacon cheese burger, onion rings and fries. Saying that I have no complaints about the food. I would recommend this place for a quick bite. Cash only but they have a ATM on the side of the building.
Good burritos either occasional meat in a bean and cheese burrito. Open 24 hrs decent prices if in Montebello. Check them out, I did and so should you.
They use 2B really good but now they are putting beans in there breakfast burritos and very little meat beans belong on the side what's next rice are we in northern CA

Man. I should be the Food Channels reviewer for Dive Restaurants! LOLOK. Now, I love a $20 bougie burger as much as the next guy. But my brother and I had a tee time at Montebello Country Club on Garfield and the 60. We wanted to grab some lunch before golf since the restaurant on course was closed.My brother said, Hey. Theres this place right next to the course. Its been there forever. Want to try it? Damn Right I Do! We pulled in and it was love at first sight.Three metal picnic tables in front. No inside dining (yet) Cash Only and everything under $10.I wanted to try everything! My stomach was saying, Chili cheese hot dog with a side of enchiladas topped with pastrami. I ended up with a cheeseburger, fries and diet coke.Fantastic? Nope. Good pre-golf food. Hell yeah! Nothing special. Ok meat, THICK skice of tomato, good fries.I should have gone with the Mexican food. Chile rellenos burger, original breakfast burrito, tacos, taquitos, beans and rice.The place is open 24 hours, guys!! Hey. If you're in East LA, there's tons of good food. Give J & S a try. I think you gonna like it!!
We got the cheese and beef enchiladas, and they were very good. They came with rice and beans which were also very good. Simple and very filling. Mexican and American food served at a quaint, old school style walk-up window with outdoor seating. Cash only, open 24 hours and prices are affordable. The best type of place when you're hungry any time of day and night. We lucked out finding this little gem, and now we've joined the many that obviously know this place well. Try it out
Favorite place to grab taquitos, everytime I think I only want two, I finish my food and wish I had got more. I usually call ahead with my order, they are sometimes really busy. Best part is they're open 24/7, so you can always get that late night snacks. The breakfast burritos are also delicious.
