Customer service was not good .The lady that help with my order was nice but the girl that kept going by and putting orders up front was rude when customers order was wrong and when customer told her she had said ,She will help u ! Which was lady at register. Not helpful 3 customers were waiting for ever for orders not good and it wasn't busy either
Went to this place about 3 weeks ago and ordered a Tostada Salad, my husband had 3 pcs. Chicken meal. When I got home I was disappointed to see that they gave me a chicken salad instead. Now this week end we ordered at the drive thur, only 2 cars ahead of us.I asked for tostada salad again and my husband 4 piece meal and the new taquito nachos. I specifically asked for cilantro dressing on the side because I love that dressing, and the order taker said it comes that way. So I figured they wouldn't of forgotten it. Well while driving home I remembered to check the order and it was missing the dressing. So if you go here make sure you check your order before you leave the window. The food was very good and the taquito nachos were delish. I also am noticing that the seving sizes are much smaller.
This was my first time at this pollo loco and might be the only time. The restaurant was clean and the service okay, but the food wasn't what I know it can be. I ordered two tostada salads and they were not what other location have offered. There was little to no beans and rice and for one they gave us 2 lettuce cores. The rest of our food was good I just wish they'd put more beans and rice like other location have.
I placed an online order through the app and I've been waiting in the parking lot for 40 minutes for curb side pick up. They locked the door and won't pick up my phone calls!! The drive thru line is 15 cars now and I guess ill have to wait in it just to get my order. I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed.
Pandemic era review: ~12/14/2021Good serviceCute short cashier girl, if you careGenerally quite clean from my many visitsIndoor dining availableMy food has been deliciousMy most recent visit last week was to get an avocado chicken burrito, it was delicious with the salsa...the only problem was that when I ate half of it, I realized that I had not found any chicken yet; I figured they must have packed all the chicken to one side of the burrito, it happens sometimes. I get to the bottom of the burrito with the last 2 bites and I didn't find any chicken yet!!!! That's literally the only meat you serve on the menu in the restaurant!!!!!How did a worker negligently forget the main ingredient that is in nearly EVERY main entree item on the menu?! Lol
Service was slow, they were out of breast & wing combos, and the food itself was mediocre (dry chicken, watery mac & cheese, and terrible coleslaw). They were busy and it was the holidays, and workers were in fact doing what they could. I'd give them 3 stars if it was just about the service & quality. What really motivates my complaint here is that they refused to honor my $25 gift card. They claimed it was an "invalid account". I know there isn't much the location itself can do regarding that, but I've reached out to El Pollo Loco (corporate) multiple times regarding this, and they keep telling me that the card has a $0 balance due to it expiring or having dormancy fees (they can't decide which), but they can't provide an expiration date or list of fees.As I'm in CA, and the card was bought in CA, expiration dates and dormancy fees are illegal (the card explicitly states "card retains unused balance", has no expiration date, and no disclaimer about dormancy fees). I've pointed this out to them multiple times, but they don't care. My $25 gift card, which was full or nearly full, is just gone. This has happened to me with El Pollo Loco once before, but I was able to go to the location and get my old card replaced with a new, active card. I suspect either one of two things has happened in the current instance. Either they switched gift card processors again and lost my card and its balance in the shuffle (again), or they illegally (under California law) assessed dormancy fees on the card and don't want to admit it.I've already contacted them via their website 3 times over this. They say they "want to make this right" publicly, but do nothing when you actually contact them.
If this is a individually own store, owner please pay attention!!! Service is horrible and it's even worst when your listening to your employees complain that's theirs alot of customers.. do they know we're they paycheck comes from.. you have a serious problem here, how would I know? Well when I'm listening to your employees saying to one another I was going to call out, I should of, I'm not staying later then my shift.. I won't probably be back at this location so I can make your employees happy.. best of luckyou
My burrito was noticeably smaller than it has been in recent years, but it was still tasty.
Love me some Pollo Loco, this one is usually clean, fast and friendly. Unfortunately, today was not a good day to come. The service lacked the friendliness and all the tables were dirty. Bummer. On the other hand the food is great.
Was standing in front of the counter for over 10 min and nobody bothered to take our order. We were trying to get the employees attention and were ignored. Drive thru line was about 15 cars long around the corner.
