Today was my first time trying Chago ahogadas. I had a carnitas torta ahogada and a taco ahogado de papa con carnitas. Everything was delicious, just as good if not better than i remember the tortas and tacos ahogados from guadalajara. I also had the opportunity to meet the owner of the place, he is very police and attentive to all customers.I will definitely be going back.
My boyfriend and I went for some lunch and had to take some tortas to go. The prices are affordable for the amount of food. What I really enjoyed was that you can get extra everything: cabbage, picked onions, and sauce. The hot sauce is absolutely delicious and spicy so be careful. The bread is perfectly crisp, so if you don't like "hard" bread just let it soak the delicious red sauce. Overall definitely going back.
