This place is wild. Hands down the best nigiri I’ve ever had. I could not stop myself from having a piece before taking pictures.It’s a bit unassuming from the outside, but on the inside is one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve seen. This is a big deal for me, because I don’t eat at dirty sushi restaurants. If a restaurant is dirty in the front, I assume where the fish is prepared is likely to be dirty as well.But this place is literally spotless (without feeling uninviting). Nice ambience, great servers, and the owner was kind enough to chit chat with me.Overall, one of the best sushi places I’ve been to. Great date spot.Also, the nigiri is giant; 95% fish, 5% rice, so be prepared.
I wish if I can give them 0 stars. JJ Sayegh is very very rude manger, I never seen a manger like this before. She told us “ I don’t want to see you guys here again” Which for sure we are not going back again to this awful restaurant especially we drove one hour drive. The Staff was very unprofessional which they told us “ your group is very rude”in front of the manger & she didn’t say a word. They Considered us as a group of 8 even tho we are only 6 of us and one of our friends didn’t eat sushi at all, but all they need tips from no where. Every time the order was missing messed up & missing something. This place needs to know how to speak with a customers especially JJ Sayegh.

The Sushi One Spot in Montclair has an all you can eat, unlike the others in this area. You will pay more, but it will be totally worth it! Huge and high quality fish portions makes this the best all you can eat sushi in the area. The staff were all friendly and gave tips as needed.
We have been here multiple times since they opened and they are always on top of everything. We are never waiting long to be seated or have our order taken. The food is always fresh and so delicious also the owner is just so kind and involved.
The best sushi I've ever had! I'd recommend giving this place a visit. The staff are welcoming, kind, and helpful. And the environment within the restaurant is modern and very nice! I will definitely be coming again.
I never thought you could have too big of fish portions on nigiri, but I was wrong.Maybe this is your type of sushi, but when I have a slice of fish that is 5 inches long with about an inch of rice it is not good. I know it sounds weird to complain about too much fish but the ratio was totally off. Sushi should be able to go into your mouth one bite, but this was like eating a slab of fish.The quality of the fish was good, but my husband said every piece had a garlic taste to him...maybe that is how they preserve or store the fish?The service was great and I feel awful about giving such nice people 2 stars, but the ratio was seriously awful. I only tried one roll—the basic California roll and the inside mix was too mushy. Maybe the other rolls are better and that is what people come here for?Regardless, I will not be returning and you've been warned about the nigiri.
My new favorite sushi restaurant. The sushi is so fresh and mouthwatering. Super clean and great customer service. I recommend it!
?? This place. Their service is absolutely horrible. Good luck trying to place an order over the phone. They turn off their phone from 2-5 for break. Secondly, their ATM.machine goes down. It's more like they don't want to pay that extra fee from the ATM company. Who carries cash with them. Never again will I eat from there, ontop of other issues. Like I said ??this place
