This place is one of dose small business Mexican restaurant that if just look at it from the outside it can make you wonder if is going to be good. Well, guy's let me tell you... Let me start off with how well the owner keeps the inside. It's clean well seating tables and good space for a small business. The restrooms we're clean which in my point of view is one of the most important part of a restaurant. Now, the FOOD! I ordered the "Chilaquiles" and they we're so good. We also got the "Carne Asada" the "Sopes" and they we're yummy. Now, I really don't know if it's pricey. I can say it's so, so. But the food can make it worth it. I definitely will be coming back here to try out more of the delicious food they have.
Order was ready in 15 min. Had a Chile relleno combo. The menu say Chiles so I was expecting two but only came with one the combo was about 13$ came with a side of bean and rice and Chile sauce. Very spicy yummy sauce. Portion size are small and pricy. Also ordered a Torta de melanesa de res. Flavor of food basic. Portion size bite size. Service can be more helpful.
After walking at Tiki Swap meet, I stopped here to eat lunch. I ended up eating their Pozole and was very satisfied. Too much in bowl, I couldn't finish it all.
1st time here. .. 1 carne asade burrito, 2 chicken tacos and a large diet coke with weird shaped ice.. $18.50... the wait was kinda long, and its HOT AF inside.. no people wearing a mask even though theres a sign from the city of montclair posted on the window... The short mexican guy at the cashier gave my food but forgot my drink.. i reminded him and he was correcting me in ENGLISH its diet coke.. lol ... He was ashamed he forgot.. never coming back again.. foods ok, but there are better places around
Horrible, greasy food, cold and seems they frozen the food and then they reheated to served it again after few days maybe weeks.
Worst tacos and rude service, charged more than advertised, no A.C., hot in there so I bought food to go, asked for cup of water and got charged for it! Never again!?
