I just wanted to try something different and I'm happy I decided to take a chance. I arrived and was in slight distress because the name of the restaurant has changed from Sushi Kuni to Monrovia Ramen & Rolls.I went inside to ask just to be sure. The hostess confirmed and I sat down to eat.I noticed the sushi ? chef in the back preparing food and seemed like he has a new school vibe. I have to admit it was different but very tasty. Sushi rice is good but with different rice, it's a new school twist that I like. I would like to see more sushi rice options going forward but I like what this place is bringing to the table and like their style... The music here is also great. Il be back for more and next time with friends.
Service was great, food came out fast and was delicious. the all you can eat special was awesome.
Went there with a group of friends, most of us have been around the world for a while, and we all agreed that this was the best sushi we ever had in our lives. We couldn’t believe, every single bite was better than the other, hard to chose a favorite one. Not to mention the staff was the nicest, the beers in the perfect temperature, best dinner ever!
This place needs to update their Google info. Came here for dinner as it claimed it was open and it was closed with this sign on the door.
Had a excellent experience here with my wife. The food came quick and the customer service is just excellent. Prices are reasonable.
Place is closed. Still let me order on line without notifying me. Drove to restaurant for nothing, waste of time and gas. Now waiting on possible refund in the next week. What a cluster...
Service is fast. I visited before covid and the atmosphere inside was amazing. During covid sushi kuni has been very consistent in quality. Very enjoyable. Got my mother in law to try sushi from here for the first time and she loved it. The wall of customers is very cool inside on the right hand side when you walk in.
