We treated ourselves & loved every bite! The fries were hot & fresh - perfect. Hubby had chili burger - really yummy. Employee's were kind, smiling & we will return.
Original Tommy's is always good. If you like chili burgers, dogs or fries, you gotta go if you've never been. I know it's not the healthiest but it's yummy.
A pleasant visit from an out of towner with a solid Chilli cheese burger, warm tasty fries and a cool dine in experience with friendly staff. This maybe the best burger chain in Cali, but it's safe to say that's up for debate with In and Out. Will definitely be a regular spot for future visits and had my curiosity, but with the tastes and pricing has my attention ?
The Best chili burgers and chili fries. Grew up going to the first location (DTLA)on Rampart and Beverly in the 1980's. Still tastes the same. I am happy they have locations all over LA now.
Went there last night, from the get go the woman with the dyed blonde just got on the mic and sounded annoyed, seriously if you hate your job so much quit!..... She sounded so unfriendly and like she did care I knew my order was going to be messed up. And sure enough it was. I told her while ordering I wanted a number one with no tomatoes, onions, pickles, just the patties cheese and chili that's all she responds oh plain, yes.Then while I'm paying she walks asks me you wanted just a plain burger right? No, I want chili and cheese on it. After that she closes the window, and walks away like annoyed I'm there. They still give me a burger with just two patties, no cheese or chili. I gotta the cook of the food was off and everything, chili was dry, burger was still kinda pink, hot dog was hard,...... and the worst part it looked like the fries had been cooked 3 hours ago, absolutely no color to them and no salt. They have the best Chili Cheese burgers!? I have been coming here for several years. They give big servings of fries! I like the chili on the side to dip the fries in.
I used to love going to this Tommy's. There used to be bigger paper towel dispensers... There's now only one at the front. Perhaps they've been attacked one too many times from paper towel kleptomaniacs. You now have to ask for soda refills which takes time and requires extra interactions with the employees. They're really cheap on the chili on the burgers now. There used to be a distinct "layer" of chili within the chili burger. Now the layer is a smear on the burger patty and just a blob on the outside to make it "look" like there is a layer of chili. I guess everyone is cost cutting to make up for currency depreciation... But it's still sad. Tommy's in general uses it be much busier... Like in-n-out busy. Somewhere along they way they forgot to cater to a younger demographic. I suspect the lost entire Pokemon generation of kids who are now adults. A bit of a shame for us older Tommy's fans. I had to take off one star because of the shortcomings I mentioned at the beginning.
Great chili, hadn't been since we moved 7 years ago to Utah. We were the first customers on Easter morning and were welcomed in by Maria, very friendly and professional, if you have more employees like her, you are lucky. The place was very clean. Please put a Tommy's in St. George Utah.
Incredibly friendly service. Clean, actually, extra clean restaurant and restrooms.Chili Fries were perfect. They even have the real deal heinz ketchup. Iced tea was strong too, a little pricey, but worth every penny.Go there now...they are waiting for you !
Prices are on the expensive side. Even higher than in n out. This is far from healthy so when I eat from here it's very rare and when I'm just craving a cheat meal. But the last time, the taste of the chile was a little off. I can't describe why or how? But it was disappointing :(
