Honestly this was one of the worst restaurant meals I've ever had. Food was lukewarm and flavorless and came out of the kitchen way too fast to be prepared right. I went there based on the reviews so I will be very weary in the future. Also my margarita was very watery. It was after 8PM so maybe they were serving the dregs of the day.A big waste of money.... Stay away! I can't imagine that anyone would ever be a repeat customer. You would do much better at Taco Bell.
This restaurant is only getting 2 stars because the service was OK. Otherwise it would be only one. The frozen margaritas were really weak. We were served very fast, but the food was just warm. The Chile relleno was flavorless. The rice was the best of the rest, but that's not saying much. This is California and I would expect better.
Love going to Max’s I’ll recommend everything. Food and alcohol drinking are right on point.

Great places, all the staff is very friendly, the place is clean and you have a lot of tvs so you can watch sports, today I get a pozole grande, was nice.

Love this spot. Their chicken enchiladas are on point and delicious, but their chicken pozole is best. Highly recommend it!
Last time I ordered Cocido I didn't receive my rice. A few weeks later I ordered it again though my rice was in my order I didn't receive the onions, cilantro, tortillas nor any limes. I'm not sure what's happening with the Monrovia location but they seriously need to complete orders and pay attention to details. I pay full price and even tip therfor i expect my orders to be complete! Seriously disappointed as I've been dining there for years, but this was probably the last time I order or dine there again.
Love this place. They have great food and atmosphere. Friendly staff. It has become a regular hang out now.
Poor management!!! They owner and his wife should really update their customers service. The owner just plan out rude.
