We really wanted to like this place given the reviews and the recommendation of a local, but we just didn’t.I’ll start off by saying the servers were very friendly, attentive, and the food was out quickly. The onion rings were really good, they were the best part of the meal. Awesome ranch dressing also (you know how that can be hit or miss). Two of our guests shared the 5 sliders with pork and tri-tip. Both tasted good, however the onions kind of overpowered the tri-tip and the pork was chewy. The Mac n cheese really didn’t have much flavor, the noodles were pretty soggy and floppy.I had the pulled pork plate with coleslaw and fries. Again, the pork was really chewy, but also dry, and there was very little of it. For $17 I got a plate overflowing with fries and a side of pork. The coleslaw was fresh and tasted good, good fries. The bite of corn muffin that I had was overdone and dry as could be.My husband had the kickin chicken sandwich-it was supposed to be spicy and was not. Nothing special about it.The place is clean, there are neat signs and license plates all over the walls. However, we would not come back.

This place is simply SPECTACULAR!It has an amazing old school diner feel, the food was incredible, the service was beyond great, and the prices we so affordable I was literally baffled! Can't wait to come back and try all of the other menu items!

First time at Jake’s and we had a nice meal. Service was great! Portions are huge. Husband had the baby back ribs and said they were great. I tried the smoked sausages, both Polish and Texas Spicy, and they were delicious. Lightly coated in bbq sauce and served with onions.

We came here on a personal recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. All pasta made in house melted in your mouth. Although priced at $25, try the beef carpaccio app not always on the menu. It's worth it. Also plenty of local wines available by the glass. Overall a great lunch.

Went to celebrate my niece's birthday. We all loved the food?. Are server was awesome. We will be back soon. The other employees were sweet to. Clean place?.

Ordered a veggie omelette with avocado. Was charged for an omelette. The waiter even talked to me about the omelette. I got back, opened the box and inside was a veggie burger with avocado. I ate the burger because I was starving and pressed for time and it wasn't good. It was bland; Not even ketchup on it. My dog could've made that burger and she would've done a better job.

Good barbecue ribs, chicken, sausages. Bbq beans etc.

There were 9 of us dined-in on a Monday night in the evening. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the full baby back ribs. All great, tasty, well smoked through. Large portions. Service was great. I would highly recommend Jakes for families to enjoy.

I had a perfect be medium rare boneless rib steak served with a baked potato and a fresh ear of corn and the price tag was $37 which I considered very reasonable because the steak was so large I barely finished half and the same thing with the potato so literally what I brought home was it enough for a complete dinner just adding vegetables with it. The people I was with ordered half a barbecue chicken in the sauce was wonderful and the chicken was absolute be tender and quite large. I give this restaurant to thumbs up because the service was excellent the food was excellent and the portions sizable and as to the Ambiance who cares especially when you're dealing with wonderful food reasonably priced and excellent service.
