The drinks were amazing and the food was even better. Definately made my list of restaurants to recommend and revisit. Thanks to the chef and our awesome Waitress/Bartender Michelle. Very nice and inviting. And I was hangry when i came in haha leacing full and satisfied ?
So we decided to go here and eat bc we saw good reviews. Sorry but our food was nothing good... we order onio rings and wings they both had alot of oil dripping and my husband got pollo asada the chicken was super salty. Then we got order of fries they looked like left over fries dry and burn. Sorry won't go here again.
My husband and I came in before 8pm, when they close at 9. We were immediately told it was last call and not given a menu nor a greeting. The bar tender was making fresh drinks for another guest (friend perhaps). When we asked about different beers they were supposed to have on tap, we were given short responses and no eye contact, feeling very unwanted. We finally told the bar tender that we thought we should go as we hadn’t even been given a menu. The bartender just looked at us, didn’t offer a menu or ask what we’d like to drink. We will most likely never go back as this was a very unpleasant experience. Whoever owns this place should really consider who they hire and costumer service. We are now at Copper Still Grill down the road receiving excellent service.
Delicious food! We have been coming here pretty consistently for a year or two, Pokemon Go brought us here. The food has been consistently good and there is usually a special. When we went all draft beer $3. Can't beat that!Also super cool to find out the owner is female and Latinx! Gotta support our locally owned businesses. She works hard!Super sweet, I saw a few reviews about some attitude, but I've seen a lot of customers just rushing and impatient before the staff can even say hello! LolThe shrimp burger is my partner's favorite and he seriously has been talking about it for a week! Just like every time he gets it.I appreciate the good food, good drinks, and hard work!
I loved the food here. I'm local to Monrovia but I have never seen such a diverse restaurant. I had never had Peruvian food before "it was amazing" My mom love the seafood rice. I had the ceviche sampler to try a little of the most popular. We had free passion fruit mimosa "bomb" FREE?? yes free !!!! and we both had beer for only $3 for the happy hour special. its a must have
The food is a hit and miss, first time I went food was good, I ordered Nica food. Second time, I ordered exactly the same thing which was the parillada. The meat had a different taste, chicken was dry. To me it seems the meat maybe held in the freezer as they are really not that busy. The meat quality seemed fatty and due to it being frozen had little taste. Not sure that I would go again for the Nicaraguan food. I see burgers reviews are good they should stick to what they are good at. The service was not bad, which is why I didn't give them a one.
Great place to have a quick meal before going to the movie. This restaurant is right next to the Look theater. We had our lunch at Ikonicks Burgers & Brew before went to see Shangqi at Look next door.The foods turned out to be very good. My friend had their Nicaraguan food and she told us it was very delicious. We had never been to a Nicaraguan restaurant before. Since I have never had foods from that country, I went conservative and order their lumber Jack Burger. Although the burger is small, the meat and the bacons came with it was stacked to the top. The whole thing was delish.Buffalo wings and onion rings are popular here. We ordered both and loved them. I heard they have special wing nights. I got to find out which night and come for the Wing and their beers.
Ixchel is the best! My husband and I went here for brunch today and was an amazing experience. Food was tasty and Ixchel checked on us often.

This review is for a a Nicaraguan restaurant, not for the burger/brew This is location serves Nicaraguan dishes but with limited availability. Customer service can be improved. However food is Nicaraguan tasty.
