It was my first time trying this burger joint, and WOW! One of the juiciest charbroiled burgers I've ever had! It tastes how a burger should taste. Full of flavor, packed with ingredients that accommodates the Patty to perfection. I'm just mad at myself for not trying it sooner.
I was down in Monrovia last weekend for my neice's birthday. We picked up burgers at Fatburger and, oh my, what a tasty and fresh hamburger! I watched the grill cook start with a hunk od ground beef and flatten it to perfection. Nothing beats a fresh burger! Fries were good too, you can get skinny, fat (steak fries), and sweet potato. Simply delish, wish we had one up here in Eugene!

The portions were small. The food was okay. There wasn't anything special about the chicken sandwich or hamburger.

The one in downtown is much beter, the Monrovia one the bread is hard and the cook squeezes the hell out of it to all the flavor out of it so its dry. Re-train my man.

Burgers are good. But they like to close before closing time. And forget about a shake way before that. I think they shut everything down because they want to go home early. So change your closing time if that's the case.
Is it me, or is the 'original' Fatburger smaller than it used to be? Feels like they make them more like an InNOut serving size now but for twice the price.Reliable chain but I think you get better bang for your buck elsewhere.
I'm Old School. My husband and I have a passion for Great Burgers!! We grew up on Fat Burgers, Skinny Chilli Cheese Fries and Old Fashioned Vanilla or Chocolate Shakes. When we left the L.A. area, we were overjoyed to discover Fat Burger in Monrovia. If you're craving a mouth-watering, old fashioned, delicious burger, made with Beef or Turkey, give them a try! You won't be Disappointed!!!
