Celebrated my birthday here and it was great. Manager Dylan and his staff were awesome. Food was delicious and the drinks are tasty!

Was our go-to place during summer of 2020 (great job handling COVID protocol, by the way). Back again this summer…just as good, excellent actually. 38 burger, couple of beer flights later…will remain our go-to this summer as well! Dillon (Dylan) and his staff do a fantastic job, as always. CHEERS!

The food is good and the selection of beer is amazing. The service can take longer than you might expect. Emily is always super attentive when we go and does wonders to move the process swiftly. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable about the beer they are serving. You are guaranteed to find a beer you have not seen elsewhere. We are fans of their pizzas, poutine, and burgers.

Went there with a group for one of our friends birthdays. We told the waitress Eva that we would need separate checks. She did not tell us we could not get separate checks until it was time to pay. Then she said she could only do four checks max. I told her three times myself I did not have cash to give to somebody else I needed my own check. She just stared at me as if she was going to do it and then didn’t. She ended up putting my food on my friends check so they had to pay for me. How humiliating!! What bad business… We were treated as if we were teenagers who were going to walk out on our bill. I will be sure not to go back to be treated like this.If a restaurant cannot do separate checks they need to state that before the food is ordered.

Stopped at this spot for lunch. The curbside vibe seemed cool, with outdoor seating. I got the Backyard burger and fries and it was delicious! My husband got the soup of the day and tacos. Lots of beers to choose from, good service, great food. I would definitely go back.

We're always at the Alhambra location but since we were in Old Town Monrovia we decided to stop by and grab a beer here too. This location is smaller than the Alhambra one but the service and food are just as great. We ordered a couple of beers on tap and shared the beef brisket platter which was so delicious. We talked to the owner while sitting at the bar and he was very friendly.

Good vibe, great over priced drinks and beers. A little pricy for 3 people, and one of us only drank water. Service was good once we got service. We were seated quick, but didn't get service and by that I mean water, for over 15 minutes. Servers walked by us, they knew we there, but no one would stop until I flagged one down, and no, they we're not busy. The food was fair, but the salmon isn't fresh, you smell the fishy smell right a way, the sauce is a nice diversion and needed.

We were there for a company holiday party. The host and servers went above and beyond getting us seated and changing our table from indoor to outdoor. Not easy for 25 folks. Plenty to choose from on food and drink menu.

The food was both a reasonable price and extremely delicious. Nice atmosphere too.

I was really surprised by 38 Degrees. I figured it was pretty much a burger and ale house - standard fare. Boy was I wrong! The menu items are prepared with finesse and quality that I was not expecting! I ordered a salad topped with salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly - full of flavor and not the slightest bit dry. The salad was tossed with a delicious balsamic vinegrette and had homemade croutons added in. If they make a salad this good I can only imagine their other dinners. I am definitely going back!!
