Always a nice experience at Verona's. I usually get the eggplant parmesan or the Margherita pizza but the other night since there was a special with risotto I asked for a mushroom risotto. A bit different from the actual special but since I'm vegetarian I needed some adjustment. It was spectacular. My dining buddy had the halibut. He said it was awesome.I thought bread was typically brought to the table but maybe I'm wrong. It's been about 6 months since my last visit and when I usually go it's with a bunch of other people and we get a ton of appetizers and drinks. We were a bit more conservative.
Wow what a place. The food was great one of our party ordered the Ribeye steak and it was excellent. Any of the pasta dishes are excellent, pasta is the main stay for Veronas. Try the Caprese salad its very good. Veronas is busy and popular for locals check on reservation is a good idea.
