On rock like sqWeekend does not have full menu. Got two breakfast sandwiches one with bacon and one with sausage. Biscuits burned and hard, sausage overdone, potatoes browned to little square rocks. Needless to say first and last time there. We love to support locals businesses however Jack n box would have better and half the price. However on plus I got homemade pomegranate jam!

I ordered over fifty pounds of brisket and plenty of mashed potatoes to go along with it. Matt and his crew at Village Butcher knocked it out of the park! It was hands down the best brisket ever, potatoes were excellent, and the service was second-to-none. My husband and I have also stopped in there for lunch and found the same results on a smaller scale. We highly recommend!

I wanted a pastrami sandwich from a real sandwich shop so I stopped here they have a delicious fresh meats and salads. Too bad they were out of pastrami so I settled on turkey and cranberry sandwich. Better luck next time.
This place is absolutely one of the highlights of the entire Central Valley. The beef is incredible and for the quality of me that you're getting it's reasonably priced. We get steaks from here at least once a week, but they're baked beans are also some of the best baked beans I have ever had in my life (also stellar french fries)

Shared a tri-tip sandwich and garlic fries with my GF after enjoying graffiti car show activities and was impressed with the quality of both items. Nice quantity of meat on a nice toasted bread served with bbq sauce on the side. The fries were golden brown and garlicky but not overwhelming. Enjoyed sitting inside and eyeballing the assorted meats and sausages in the case. Service was quick and friendly and adequately priced.
Amazing food! They offer a variety of sandwiches, meat, and bbq. If you order anything I highly recommend getting their fries as a side. They cook them in beef tallow and have the best seasoning. Their menu is slightly different on the weekends. Make sure to come in early to get meats before they sell out. There are tables inside and they have a small variety of drinks to order! Highly recommend eating here!!!
This is probably One of the best places to go in Modesto for cuts of meat but their sandwiches are next level. The brisket sandwich melts in your mouth and all the burgers are top-notch. Even the salads are hardy and delicious. If you Have not had the opportunity to come here for lunch, you should definitely take the time. And while you're here, check out the great cuts of meat. You won't be disappointed
