The owner is very friendly and welcomes you as soon as you step foot into the building. The first time I came here I had the burger and fries. It was delicious. Today I had the breakfast omelette. I added mushrooms and breakfast sausage to my order. The omelette came with sliced avocados on top. It was very delicious. I have been coming to eat at Smokey's when I had gotten my windows tinted and headlights restored/windshield chips fixed at the businesses in the area off of Glass Lane. Too bad I have to drive across town if I want to come back to Smokey's.
After setting up an appointment for an oil change at a nearby Meineke, my nine year old declared she was hungry so we happened to stumble upon this spot. Very friendly staff, great customer service, fantastic 80's music on the satellite (Ah, the nostalgia) and Game Show Network on the tv (Favorite game "Deal or No Deal" was on--BONUS). Short wait time and the food was delicious. Will be coming back!
As good as the food is, I really wish their hours of operation extended to the weekends. I've been able to enjoy this place twice during the week and when I want to go on the weekend always closed. Most people like me work during your mon-fri hours.
The owner works the register and is one if the most pleasant people you will ever meet. Food was great as well.
Super friendly staff, fresh and delicious food. The white chocolate salted caramel cookie was bomb!! A great place to eat while waiting for your oil change. :)

I came to smoky's while waiting for my car to be serviced. Smoky's did not disappoint, great food and great service. As soon as you walk in your greeted. I think it was the owner who took my order super friendly made sure each guest was welcomed and thanked before they left. I ordered the chicken sandwich with fries, also a carmel coffee. The fries had great seasonings crispy but soft on the inside, dipped in bbq sauce delicious. The chicken sandwich was a full breast, all the veggies were fresh. You can tell they take pride in their food and service. I will definitely be back.
Just as amazing if not better than it was 26 years ago up on McHenry. Came on the wrong day for clam chowder but the creamy chicken noodle did not disappoint! Burger and fries were plentiful and perfect.
Super clean, nice seating areas and the food was amazing! Great! Had the Southern Cluck chicken sandwich, one of the best chicken sandwiches ever. The staff/owner are amazing people
