It was all delicious. The one on the far left is the Lion King Roll, to the right of that one is the Volcano roll (jalapeños on top) the one to the right of that is called the Flaming Roll, and i can’t remember the one with the flower on it. And the one on the farthest right is a california roll. Only thing I was bummed about is they don’t have fountain machine for soda, just cans. But i took it as a sign I need to drink water anyway. 4 stars outta 5. Ps they didn’t charge me extra for adding tempura crumbs on one of the rolls which was nice.

Was craving some katsu curry and found Modesto Sukiyaki. The fish tasted fresh and the plating was rather appealing. The Katsu curry was very good and definitely hit the spot. I will be back to try more of their menu for sure!

Nice people and they have good food. I would visit again if I was in town.

I’m almost at a loss for words... Words can NOT describe how Fantastic this food was! Every bite from appetizer to main course was 10/10!! Please do yourself a favor and try the spicy edamame. The sauce is more mild spicy with a sweet tang. The presentation was top notch elegancy and the environment was so welcoming. Staff was so nice and didn't bug you. They went out of their way to thank us for coming in. We don't always get sushi but oh my goodness .... This is an unforgettable experience. This is permanently our go to spot!

Wow! Better than some spots I've tried in the Bay Area! Fresh Wasabi... O-toro! Everything was fabulous!

Absolutely delicious Japanese food. The tonkotsu ramen was to die for and all the sushi tasted amazing. We will definitely be back!

Good nice and small place. Really enjoyed the sashimi, a bit pricier but it does taste a tier better cause of it. This will be my go to spot now.

Sushi’s are ok but the ramen was great and quick service as well…we had a great experience!!

Chef makes great veggie and vegan rolls on request.

Modern Japanese food that looks and tastes pretty good. Interesting to see some of the "fusion" rolls with Italian or Mexican ingredients but not sure how the taste works out.The Seared Tuna Appetizer was great, and if adding a little bit of sauce--esp since there is salad--it works be even better. The Black Thunder Roll was pretty good with reasonably-sized eel pieces on top, but the asparagus inside the roll was a bit of a surprise to me, and I think avocado or cucumber might be a better choice. The Pork Katsu Curry was also pretty good; the pork cutlet was done nicely, though the curry could be a little more spicy for us--which will add to the aroma too.
