We drove over 70 miles to this John's Incredible Pizza. So glad the buffet was back! They had the nicest salad bar that I've seen at John's, but missing French dressing or something and the hand sanitizer was out. I notified them that only one worked, but I didn't see any replace them. Most games worked, but some sides were shut down due to COVID restrictions we couldn't play them together. Overall, it was worth the drive because we all enjoyed ourselves & felt grateful for the family and friend time!
The Food wasn't that great this time. The WAIT TIME for our kids to get on the few rides available was 15- 20 minutes. That's crazy when I purchased 4 unlimited tickets, 2 hour starts when 1st put card in game or ride. But because wait time, kids didn't like going on Mondays. The weekend is probably better.
My son enjoys John's Incredible pizza. He loves being able to choose a section within the food area to watch his favorite cartoons while he eats and has his slushy. Once we're done we head over to the games area we usually load the same card ( I save it for him as it holds his tickets ride credits and his coins to play. I totally recommend to sign up as vip we get free meals every so often. ?
The only reason I give 4 stars is last time I was there about half the games were either turned off or out of order. It's fun if you have kids though! A great place for them to burn off energy and the pizza 10/10!
We love everything about this place especially their food.I must say that they have one of the best salad bars in Modesto. When we bring our grandchildren here they always enjoy the food, games and rides. We really love seeing them happy.
Pizza was not re-stocked frequently onto the display/warming area. Dessert cheese cake pieces were empty, but replenished by a worker when asked. Able to pull off a surprise birthday party for an adult relative.PROS: Food variety, awesome chicken Alfredo sauce pizza, friendly workers, enjoyable for the kids, and ample parking. Unlimited buffet and drink refills, tooCONS: The party room rental time is short yet expensive, and included a small cake with sparse icing. Probably better to get your own birthday cake from the deli section of a nearby upscale grocery store.OVERALL: Visiting once every year with the kids is enough satisfaction for me.
Wow, what a fun place. Definitely want to go back. The food was off the hook. Many dinning areas to choose from. Lots of fun games. Kids had so much fun and so did I.
Staff was great! They really work hard to give the best guest experience. Unfortunately, most of the attractions/games are out of order or simply doesn't work. That's a real shame as I had lost some of my tokens to games we didn't even get a chance to play. However, thr most important thing was successful; and that is that my children had a GREAT time! I give them 3/5 simply because the main reason for being there only worked half the time.
Giving it a one star went this past Sunday breadsticks were raw not fully cooked through. Salad bar was a mess. Soda machines were a mess that place has really gone downhill. Definitely not worth the money they charge. I honestly blame it on the management not doing their rounds and checking for quality service or not in the back with the employees checking the food before it goes out maybe some better training needs to go on. That place is a mess I will never take my kids there again oh yeah I forgot to mention half of arcade games don't even work. Don't waste your money here!
John's was fun...A few of the attractions weren't open . Like the laser tag and mini golf ?Also a lot of the purple color games were broken but would still take your credits. With using the digital card for green games it would constantly lock our Account timing how long we had to wait to play again. For our 1st visit it was really annoying. Other than that it was really nice to take my little guy for 1 on 1 time . We liked the different theme places to eat. The tables were well kept at first, but as it got busy it was a mess. It was okay definitely room for improvement.
