Il miglior ristorante italiano in tutta la Central Valley. Cibo fresco e buonissimo. L’unico ristorante italiano degno di essere chiamato italiano, perché il cibo è autentico e con tutti i sapori e odori italiani. Non vedevo l’ora di provarlo e non vedo l’ora di tornare al più presto! Grazie per la meravigliosa serata!
This was THE BEST Italian food I’ve ever had. Customer service was immaculate and attentiveness. Owner gave us a very detailed story on how the food is sourced and that it is authentic Italian. The owner and the cool are both from Italy. This is the go to spot for authentic Italian. I will be coming here again and recommending to everyone I know.
Came here for Valentine's day dinner on a friend's recommendation and I'm glad we did. The space is small and a little crowded. The atmosphere is loud and bright but the food makes up for all of it. I had the veal scallopini and she had the raviolis. Incredible. The sauces on our respective dishes were rich and flavorful. The kind of dish that will make you clean your plate. We'll be back.
I‘m picky about my Italian restaurant food, but this place is the real deal! I had the lasagna gorgonzola and every bite was a dream. We didnt think to call for reservations so ended up sitting at the bar, but that was great because we ended up getting a good view of the food as it was being prepared. Everything looked delicious. We will be back for sure! Grazie mille, Gusto italiano! ❤️
After visiting Italy in 2019, this is the best Italian food we have had since. Excellent service and delightful food. The ravioli and lasagne were amazing. Carlo? came around to check on us at least twice throughout the meal. Gusto is our go to in Modesto for authentic Italian. Definitely five stars. See you soon!
Great southern Italian food! Have had 5 different dishes, and all were excellent! Nice selection of Italian desserts, and Italian wines. Service has been amazing every time, and the owner Biagio is the perfect host. Great job guys!
Great Food, Great Atmosphere, & great service they make you feel like family. We are diffinatly going to be regulars at this restaurant we loved the food & wine.
Best Italian food I have had outside of Italy.
I love supporting locally owned places so this was a perfect fit! Heard of Gusto Italiano while shopping at Cornucopia and so glad I did! My first trip in was about 20 minutes before closing time however, with the pace at which our wine, appetizers and meal were served, I unequivocally did not feel rushed. I did call ahead of time to confirm that we wouldn’t be rude showing up that close to their last seating. The lady who answered was very nice and welcoming. We weren’t super hungry so chose to share the cauliflower (which was outstanding), asparagus wrapped in bacon and penne paired with the sampler of 3 wines. All were excellent and we even took some home with us. My most recent visit we enjoyed the spaghetti (amazing), risotto and the cauliflower again, as a to-go order, and was just as pleased with our choices!! The atmosphere was inviting and aesthetically pleasing, the staff was welcoming and intuitive, the food was impeccable and perfectly timed. No doubt we will return. Next trip I will definitely try a dessert!
We walked and and we're not even great. Some rude lady dressed in street clothes eventually walks up and just stares at us. We finally say we are two fo dinner and she says that she only has bar seats available when they had three open tables. I decided to just leave and I will never come back. They lost out because I spend a lot on food because we always order for the next days lunch and we eat a lot. They are rude people
