I live in Oakdale and requested that they make my sandwich "deconstructed" style so it wouldn't get soggy. They obliged without question. Also had a few beer tasters. Superb customer service. Highly recommend!
I just happened upon this hole in the wall restaurant while on recess from jury duty. The prices seemed high to me at first but then I realized almost everything was artisanal, and the portions very generous. I am very glad I decided to try it!! Hands down some of the best food I have had in Modesto and the craftsmanship that goes into every component is admirable. The #16 tap fruited sour was one of the best beers I have ever had. I had the peppered sandwich at recommendation and it was so good! I will definitely be coming back and bringing anyone that I can with me

I put off coming for way too long knowing how delicious and tempting the fries, sandwiches made with house-baked bread, and desserts would be. What I didn't realize is that they'd have such great salads! I've now been three times in about a month and even found a beer I like (sour beers rock for non-beer drinkers)!
Their beer selection is fantastic and always rototing, they even have a mug club punch card for getting discounts.They’re a butcher, so lots of pork and meat options which are amazing but I wish their food truck, vegan grilled cheese, was on the restaurant menu cause it’d make it a more accessible place for more people

I'm from Modesto but live in southern MN now. Every time I come back to visit Modesto at least these last few years. Food Fix is a must go to. The root beer pulled pork sandwich is one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I've ever had. My brother loves the pepper jack club and the angry bluebird as well. Overall the gourmet sandwiches are worth every penny and the owner is one cool dude. Highly recommend. 10/10

I came to visit my "lovely" hometown of Modesto today and ate here. FIRE food, GREAT beers, and PHENOMENAL service. Absolutely enjoyed every bit of it! Will definitely visit again.Ate here again recently. Still 100% wonderful place! Awesome staff. Biancatron is a sweet heart!
