Fair to middling. Got take out, received food fast, 4 ribs supposed to be naked, but had sauce. Ok, but seems old kinda dry. Wings were fine came naked, but no seasoning at all. Muffin is hard as a hockey puck. Stuff is eatable, but not repeatable.

Dearest Famous Dave's Customer, I would like to let you i witnessed that your bread was grabbed and picked up bare hand no gloves worn, by a host who was also helping front desk, keep in mind she is grabbing many different items and trying to seat ppl, it is Thursday March 17th. Carinos, food service is so unbelievably slow we've been waiting for an hour, for food, you had one waitress trying to serve at least 5 tables, take order drinks, food order and bring food to tables? One chef (maybe) making food? Appetizers, Stuffed mushrooms were burned and really hard, my kids pizza was already cooling down, my food was luke warm at best ha, I really liked this restaurant but this will be my last time here
Famous Daves Bar-B-Que? Not worth it. High prices and small portions. I went for lunch and I got the beef brisket sandwich it was 4 small slices of beef, 3 pickle slices and a bun for $20! Oh, and a small side of mashed potatoes. Too expencive. Its hard to find, inside Johnny Carinos, with no sign outside to let you know its there. Like some kind of google secrete. The servers inside were very friendly, although they tried to tell me they didnt have $0.60 change, and that was not ok with me. I told them I would accept a dollar, but they sonehow found the change. Stupid. Expencive. Sneaky. Dont waste your time.
Pickup order, Located in An Italian restaurant as a shared business, I think. Someone correct me if untrue. Let’s get to it. We ordered two family platters consisted of four meats. Chicken, St. Louis ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket along with the fixings you see. Ribs were done nicely with crusty edges and tasty pork , seasoning with a hint of cayenne. Chicken cooked juicy and bbq y. The brisket was done on the okay side along with decent pulled pork. Overall 3 1/2 star meats. You gotta see the pics. $ 130…ish for 4 Yes, we pigged out excuse the pun. had decent leftovers .As always post wherever your palate takes you.
The restaurant was as dirty, dirty floors, the Brisket was tough the ribs were ok. ask for barbecue sauce ask for a different flavors of BBQ sauce only got one. Servings are a small. There was no gluten-free menu. Waitress was not aware of gluten-free items on the menu.
Ordered three meals I paid almost $80 bucks and feel so cheated the bbq and roasted chicken taste spoiled the pork was old and crunchy the salads were wilted and taste bad the cornbread muffins were probably from yesterday tasted day old dont waste your time on this food for the price the food taste like trash never again
This is one of the best meals I’ve had since moving to Modesto! Corn on the cob cooked to perfection, brisket was flavorful and tender, mashed potatoes seasoned just right! I am pleased and will order again soon!
Ordered on Door Dash. Highly disappointed. I never leave bad reviews because I find it incredibly tasteless to do so, especially when most of them are just minor inconveniences. This time however I find it right to do so. We ordered the feast for 2, second time doing so. Received one chicken leg and HALF A CHICKEN THIGH. Who cuts a chicken thigh in half and serves it?! Half the platter was fries! Maybe 2 spoonfuls of brisket at the most. So disappointing. I don't know if I just got lucky last time or if the kitchen staff is overwhelmed but for just short of $100 through door dash this is absurd. I literally want to cry right now. How is this "serves 2-3" when Wendy Williams could eat the whole platter herself in less than 8 minutes. I've been in food service and management for just over 10 years now and I can say if anything is certain in this business, it's that consistency is KEY. You can only rob so many people in the area before word spreads and business dies. Good luck.
