I drove 40 minutes to try birria for the first time. The teenage boy at the window is dense and has no personality. He told us that they were out of birria but gave it to the guy behind us. Ended up getting carne asada instead, but it tasted like rubber. I don’t recommend this place at all.
I asked for a birria tacos with everything. This is what I got. I make it better. So sad. Never get my money. The juice hs no one onions in it. No flavor. Who ever rated this 4 stars was lying. The birria juice was so thin and watered down. ???????
We used to love this place but clearly the quality has gone down quite a bit. We went 5/12/22 at around 5 pm and bought a lot of food. My husband’s carne asada tacos were awful, the meat was as tough as beef jerky we had to throw them out. I ordered a gordita, it was very dry and mostly masa, not the Gorditas I remember they used to be juicy and had lots of great toppings like fresh lettuce, tomatoes and cream. All the veggies were old. I also ordered empanadas for my guest, the meat in the pork was hard and dry like tougher than jerky could not chew them at all, the chicken ones were ok but no flavor at all and the empanada dough was just greasy with no salt. All of it was inedible. I tried calling several times and no one answers the phone. I know times are hard but I would rather pay a few dollars more for better quality. It seems the original elder staff is no longer there. Whoever has taken over doesn’t care about quality. We had motivated a lot of our friends to drive out there and they used to love it, they stopped going there as well so it wasn’t a one time issue, the quality is way off all the time. I’m so sad
First time I come to this place and they give me my order of quesabirria with no cheese, but thats not the main issue what disappoint me the most was that the torillas was like a tostada and was all broken into pirces couldnt even est it since the tortilla was broken into pieces?
Worst costumer service possible. You should appreciate more your clients. Last time I visited this junkie place ??? they just closed the window to order without telling me nothing, i was in line for about 10 minutes already and just like that. You're welcome.
I only put one star since they don't have the negative star option. I drove 35 min away to buy tacos from this place. When I got home, they gave me the wrong qty!!! My son was left without his order and I had to scramble to give him some of mine that had salsa. I called, since they aren't cheap, and they never answer the phone. Anyways, I couldn't make the drive again that same day since it would be 1hrs just to go and come back home. I went back 2 days later on a Wed and they weren't there...I called with no answer. I finally catched them today for them to deny a refund or at least compensate with what I had paid for. They were rude to me and didn't mind my time or fact that I'm a paying customer. They said it was my fault for not coming that same day. I explained to them the time that it was and with a newborn I couldn't make the trip for my 4tacos. They were laughing and simply didn't refund me. Horrible customer service and lack of emphaty. Not asking for freebies just what I paid for. Never again will I be coming here or referring my friends from the bay when they visit. The slickest way to finesse someone and it might not be much to them, but the inconvenience that they caused on a family night dinner.
Birria was the worst I’ve ever tasted. The meat was flavorless. The consomé was half way full of grease. Really bad food. I would give it a 0 star if I could. Never coming back. Wouldn’t recommend it at all.
Nasty flavor and taste
I was pleasantly surprised by this place and it takes quite a bit for a taxi truck to genuinely impress me and this place did.. The tortillas are amazing and the food is fantastic.. Have gone multiple times in the past couple weeks ?
Amazing Birria as always. I went with my friends on Saturday and we were given our food pretty quickly. On Sundays there are a lot of people so be ready to wait awhile. They also told me they run out of birria by 4pm.
