Smells great, lots of smiling faces and a bar that's good to go. That's the facade of what's really going on behind closed doors. The scary attraction to this place are the 2 inch size ROACHES. Enough of them inside, that you'll find the dying or dead ones just outside on the sidewalk in plain sight. Eaters beware
I mean, it's the Cheesecake Factory. You get what you get. The food is good, although the prices are ridiculous. However, the portions are HUGE. Last time we ate here though, our bread and butter both came out stone cold and that's nasty. Do you know how hard it is to try to spread frozen butter on cold bread? I will say the Cheesecake Factory at the Irvine Spectrum is a thousand times better and I'll choose that one over the Mission Viejo Shops location.
Delicious food and beautiful ambiance! I ordered French fries for an appetizer and almond crusted salmon salad for an entree. I shared both with a friend and couldn’t finish. Of course that warm bread and butter is a yummy way to start the meal too! I love this restaurant and have brought clients to it for celebration meals too.
We got there at 9pm, after a concert, and we were all hungry. There are many choices to choose from on their menu!. Our waitresses, Lauren and Karina were outstanding, helpful and available. We never had to ask for refills, they were offered many times along with being asked if everything was fine and did we need anything. We were pleasantly surprised considering it was nearing the end of everyone's shift. The food was very fresh and good and we each enjoyed our meals. We were never rushed. What a nice experience we had at the Cheesecake Factory thanks to a rally great team! Thank you!
Good services are offered here. But you guys really need to check on your utensils; they are not cleaned up properly. I had to clean mine properly before being used.
Brunch item review: Monte Cristo - I wanted to like this more, but the French toast was a little on the soggy side. The breakfast potatoes were crispy though. Three stars for the meal with an extra star for the Tropical Tiki Punch!
Those of you that read my reviews know that I don't like giving low stars. Unfortunately, I found our visit disappointing. There were seven if us for dinner, and were split between those that found their dinners good and those that found it lacking. I had the crab bites off the skinny menu, mainly just to have something along with the family. I found them a weird, whipped crab mixture battered and fried. If I hadn't read it was a crab dish I wouldn't have guessed crab.Sis ordered a chicken dish that was overcooked and kinda tasteless. The succotash was overcooked and mushy. Another dish was beef tacos. Taco sliders, maybe. Tacos, no.I felt for our waitress. Curt and abrupt because she had too many tables, she was clearly unhappy. Service was very slow and dishes came out sporadically rather then together.Cheesecake Factory is never my first choice for somewhere nice to go, but I went with high hopes. Unfortunately it was even worse than usual. Apologies to those that think it's a wonderful place, I have never found it better than mediocre. All in all, I'd rather have a 3x with grilled onions and animal fries from In-n-Out. You can never go wrong with that. Bon Appétit!
Great Service My 72nd. Birthday!!!
No customer service. Servers have too many tables can’t handle. It was my first and last visit for that location. 3 strikes in one visit too much . Server put in wrong order and blaming kitchen that they screwed up . Order ice tea never received till I asked, order side off fries never received till I asked. Poor service.
We had an item that was not as expected. The server was gracious. Tried to take it off the bill. The manager then told him that it could not be taken off because he already touched the table. Well, Mr. Manager, great management. Enjoy your 1 star review.
