I came here because all the ratings were so good.The Carnitas tasted good but that was it.I don’t know what the rice is supposed to be but it seems like brown rice with peas in it. Almost no flavor at all.The black beans had absolutely no flavor.The Horchata was mediocre at best.I guess if I would’ve used their salsa bar and just dumped salsa all over everything it probably would’ve tasted better. I will never know.
Taco Mesa is usually pretty great but this is the best location in SoCal imo.Excellent authentic tacos, burritos and chips + salsas - hands down the best salsas & escabeche you can find in south county!Customer service is top notch.I've tried other locations but this location is consistently the best for food & salsas without fail. Music is perhaps a little loud if you'd like to have a conversation.I have personally found the tacos (chili verde, pastor, veggie, fish, carnitas) and Blackened Chicken and Lobster burrito to be consistently delicious, especially if you get the burritos served wet. Great tortillas & fillings. The stuffed Jalapenos are also a great treat - very mild but rich & savory.All in all I highly recommend stopping by, Taco Tuesday or not.
First time visiting and very glad we finally came.Best taco Tuesday in south OC. Tacos are awesome. Salsas. Margaritas. Exceptional value and flavors. We will be back for breakfast next time and check out more of their food! Can't beat taco Tuesday here though!

Been eating at the Taco Mesa locations for 30 years. Always top quality at a reasonable price. Not fast food, but actually higher end Mexican style cuisine.
Great lunch spot. The service was fast and the guy helping me was nice. Clean place and the food was good. I felt they had more flavor to their salsa.
YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE!! The Chile relleno plate is DELICIOUS and the guacamole OMG so yummy and fresh. The employees are so nice, made me feel so welcome. I'm impressed with the interior design, Its super cute and unique. I definitely recommend this place 100%
